My Days With Alex

Tobin's POV
I don't remember much really happen just a few of pieces scattering in my head. I know I was supposed to meet up with Alex, got hit, saw a guy and then waking up to Alex crying. I was happy to know she was here for me and others. The doctors came in scanned me and made me do a few things before leaving me to be with family and friends.

I was grateful for my teammates, my family that was based of my grandpa, mom, Jeff and my sisters. I'm happy to see Alex though when I saw her; I could tell she worried, and that she hasn't slept. So I did what I had to do to so let I lay next to me and get some sleep.

I laid there playing with her hair, rubbing her back and smiling at her. I was happy that I was alive, but I hate that I broke my leg and I know I will be put out for a long while. I saw my grandpa walk in as I placed my finger on my lips, so he would know to be quiet. He saw Alex's sleeping, and he smiled taking a seat next to me.

"Finally, she's a sleep" he says as I laughed.

"Thanks. I hope you watched her as I was in here" I say as he smiled.

"Yes, we all did" he said as I felt Alex move.

"Thank you and then. I can't believe she's been here this long" I say as I looked down at Alex.

"She wouldn't leave Tobin anyways I'm glad you are okay, but someone wants to meet you" he tells me as I gave him a puzzled look.

"Okay" I say as he walked out, and I saw a strange man walking into the room.

He was tall, tan, brown hair and green eyes. He walked in, and I moved my arm as he took a seat. I looked at him as I could tell his must be the one that I saw dragging me out of my truck.

"Hi Tobin, you don't me, but I'm the one you; I guess can say I saved your life. My name is River" he tells me as I smiled at him.

"Nice to meet and thank you" I tell him as I heard a mumble, and I turned back to Alex.

"Hey babe" I say to her as she just opened her eyes.

"Hi Toby glad to finally see you smiling" she says I kissed forehead.

"I should go" I hear his voice say as I pay attention back to him.

"Oh I'm sorry River" I say as he got up and then Alex got up walking to him.

"River no ya can talk or whatever" she says as leaving.

"No Alex stay I don't mind" River says to her, but then we heard a knock on the door, and it was the doctor.

Both of them left as I was with the doctor, she came in and said, "I want to talk to you about your leg." I nodded and just waited for her to speak. She was white, with long blonde hair and beautiful blues omg am I crushing on my doctor, I thought to myself.

"Okay Tobin this is the deal, and I know this might suck for you. You can't play soccer for almost eight months, if you let everything come together, heal and rehab you can play again less than eight months. Tobin I need you to be serious about this, and your head well that have to take time too because I don't want you to rush it with a header." She tells me, and I knew that I should just quit then.

I nodded and I didn't ask questions, so she left, and then I wanted to be alone. I didn't care anymore if I can't play, then I should have just died. I'm happy that I have a beautiful girlfriend but hell she can leave me to go back to acting. My dad is going to be mad at more, and I just made the Heath name disappear now. Ugh I hate this, I can't believe this shit happens to me! I punch the hospital bed and threw a pillow, and I had tears streaming down.

Next I felt a soft hand on my arm and I looked up and it was Alex. "Just go" I say as I didn't think before I spoke.

"Tobin no I'm not leaving" she says with a demanding tone.

"Got damn it Alex go please!" I yell as I saw she was shocked, in tears and running out of the room.

Fuck Tobin. What did I just do I say to myself crying.

Alex's POV
Waking up on top of Tobin was a good feeling I heard her talking, but I must have distracted her. When I realized it was river I smiled because if it was for him, my Tobin wouldn't be here. I was going to leave, but he didn't or she wanted to me to stay. River and I were going to stay but the doctor knocked on the door, and I knew she wanted to talk to Tobin about her leg.

River and I were just talking and getting coffee. I learned that he used to play soccer and baseball, but then he blew his knee his first year of college. He knew who I was so his little sister was a fan, so I signed an autograph for her. He was really nice, smart and understanding guy for only knowing for a couple of days. I decided to go check on Tobin, and I heard crying and yelling from the close door.

I opened the door and I saw a pillow on the floor, and she was crying hard. I went to her and touch her arm, next she yelled at me "just go!" I was scared and upset about it. I let her go and yelled back "Tobin no I'm not leaving!".

She yelled back "got damn it Alex go please!"

I cried and ran out and ran outside and followed by my parents, and I said, "I want to go home." The car ride was quiet and I once we got home I ran upstairs and took a cold showers before turning it hot. I cried as the water was running down on my head and body. I got out and put on my underwear, sport bra and then Tobin's clothes and then crawled into my bed.

I cried into the sheets and pillows I don't know what happen at the hospital and why Tobin wanted me to leave. I just left without turning back, and I guess I let Tobin have space. I'll just see her after practice or school tomorrow I just cried myself to sleep and thinking about Tobin.
