Waking up with her still beside me was a dream come true. I told her the truth about why I almost drunk a whole bottle of Jack, and I kissed Christen. I must have the luckiest girl to stay by me and still trust me after last night. I got out of bed headed to the kitchen got some water bottles and made coffee. I went to the bathroom to get aspirin for Alex and I to take. She woke up when I got up, so I just handed it to her; she smiled and said, "thank you." I left to take a shower as she went to the kitchen. I put on basketball shorts and a white tee on, and I smelt breakfast when I got out of the room.

I saw she made breakfast then left to take a quick shower before I took her home. Once she was done she was wearing my clothes, which made me laughed. When we were walking out I saw Jeff coming, and I said, "you here to clean while I take her home" he laughed and replied "yes sis". We walked out and I open the door for her, and then I got in and started the vehicle. The car ride was silence and kind of awkward once I got to her house, I saw Servando and her mom outside talking. Alex wanted me to get out of the truck, so I did what I was told, I intertwined our hands together walking up to her mother. Servando checked his phone, and her mom was trying not to give us dirty looks. I whispered in Alex's ear "mom is not enjoying this" I laughed and Alex laughed. Alex decided to grab my head and smash our lips together, and her mom was standing right there.

We kept kissing basically making out hard core in front of her mom, and until we heard a voice say, "that's enough! Now Alex gets inside so you, Servando and your mother talk about that dinner dance. While I have a chat with Tobin." I pushed her off and Alex smiled and said, "yes dad. Love you Toby's talk to you later" as she walked inside followed by her mother and Servando. I saw her father standing in front of me, and I said, "sorry about that sir." He walked me to my truck and pulled down the tailgate and sat down and patted his hand on it telling me to sit.

"So Tobin I know you know about this dinner dance thing" he said as I nodded. He continued "well Tobin I wish you were going with her instead of him to be completely honest. I have respect for my wife's wishes so this isn't about her mother this is about Alex. Since ya been dating I have seen a completely change from her now that her mom is pushing her to be with this Servando she's been acting out." He just kept going on, and then I heard him say, "I want you to make sure she plays that game, and you find a way at that dinner dance thing that I have for my job." I was speechless he wanted me to break his wife's wishes I knew I could, but I'm trying to get on her good side. I just nodded and said, "I'll think about it" and left immediately.

I drove to that small food and bar joint and text Hope and Ashlyn "meet me at the spot ASAP" . A couple of minutes later, I saw Ashlyn walk through the door and said, "Tobin is everything alright?" I didn't respond until Hope gets here and a few minutes passed, and then she walked in through the doors. Hope sat next to me saying, "what's going on Tobin?" I paused and said, "I need y'all's help" they looked at me, and I knew they were listening to me.

"Alex's father has this dinner dance for his job, but it's on Friday and we have a game. Alex has to be there for her mother, and her date is Servando." I took a breath as I saw them focused on me and continue "her dad wants me to make sure Alex is at the game, and he wants me at the thing for his job, but her mom doesn't want that. Now the tricky part is her dad wants to break his wife's wishes, and I'm like yes but no because I'm trying to get on her good side. Guess I need help." I say and saw how they looked to entertain about what I just said.

They looked at each and laughed, I said, "it's not funny guys" they looked at me and said, "it is because you are making us make the choice because you are in love, and you don't want to screw things up." I guess they were right but still this is hard, and the week hasn't started yet. I knew this would be a good way to make it up to Alex but was it risky to take that chance. I heard Hope say, "we have plan but we need to know if you are hundred percent in this" I smiled, then said "yes."
