My Days With Alex

Spare Time

Alex's POV
I woke up and it felt good to have some rest, but I really didn't want to go to school. As I took a shower wash my body, hair and face after I was done I was debating myself. What should I wear? I decided to wear a light fades jeans, a purple Nike shirt and my white Nike high tops.

I walked downstairs, and I was shocked to see Serv here. I waved at him and walked into the kitchen, I saw my sister Jeri, and I asked her "why is he here?"

"Mom was worried that you skip school, so he's taking you" she tells as I gave a weak smile.

I grabbed a banana and water bottle before I walked back into the living room. Once I walked in the room I saw my mom laughing with Servando, and I got really irritated by it. I walked pass her and grabbed my bag and yelled at Serv "let's go!"

My mom looked at me with a rude expression, and I said, "what you don't want me to be late right?" I know I shouldn't give her an attitude but dang she has Servando taking me to school.

"No I don't and stop with your attitude" she tells me as I walked out and was followed by Serv.

"Alex you need to chill" he says as I got into in the vehicle.

"Chill my girlfriend is in the hospital. My mom hates her and loves you. I can't stand her and how things have got to this point!" I yell at him with anger.

"Okay okay Alex I'm sorry" he says as he decided to shut up.

I turned on the radio and only focused on the road as I really just wanted to skip school and go back to the hospital. As he parked the car, I got out and saw Sydney waiting for me outside.

"Hey" I say as we walked by her.

"Hey Alex how you feeling" Sydney asked me as I rolled my eyes

I started walking inside, and I saw Tobin's locker with get-well cards and balloons on her locker I smiled about it, and I thought to myself; I thought people didn't like her, but I guess I was wrong. As I went to my first class and noticed her sit was empty I laid my head down and fell asleep.

Tobin's POV
Waking up seeing the white walls, the tv in the corner, the machines next to me, and the window where the blinds was close was getting tiring to see. I didn't have next to me, so I knew my friend was at school, and my grandpa finally went home. I was only with the nurses and intern for the day. It was kind of funny because each one will come in, and I just make jokes and flirt with my intern.

My doctor came in and I never really got her name. She came into ask what color my cast should be, and I laughed. "So doc what's your name" I ask as she smiled.

"Doctor Taylor for you" she says as I smiled and moved up in the bed.

"Okay Taylor and color I rather have your pretty blonde hair and you can pick what color I should get" I say to her as she blushed.

"Umm i don't know Tobin you won't trust my taste" she says as I started to laugh.

"Well not white cause that's already I have. Umm orange is fine" I say as she wrote it down before she left.

"Thanks Tobin I be back so I can change that to orange" she tells me as she leaves the room.

Damn she was good looking, but I'm in love with Alex, so I don't know what I'm doing at this moment, and she's older so. I don't I think I was having too much fun at the hospital that I forget to even text or even go see if my phone was working. I heard a knock, and it was my grandpa he walked in and took a seat next to me.

"How you feeling" he asked me as I smiled at him.

"Good actually" I say and was looking of my phone.

I saw it was cracked, and the battery was dead. He looked at me and said, "I can go back and bring a charger if you want."

I smiled and said, "no it's fine." He moved and I saw him looking at my leg, and I noticed he knew something that I didn't.

"What" I asked him as he looked back at me.

"Nothing just I can't believe it's broken" he said in a calm tone.

"Papa I know it's more than that you" I say into his eyes.

"Fine Doctor Taylor didn't tell you?" He asks as I stunned.

"Tell me what" I said in worried voice.

"Oh well..." He said before he got distracted and says my doctor walking in.

"Hey sweet cheeks" I say as she blushed and my grandpa gave me a questionable look.

"Let's change that cast color" she says as she put me in a wheelchair because I didn't want to be rolled in my bed.

She was beside me as I rolled myself to the room. She helped me get on the table before she injected me not to feel the pain I said, "so what else happen to my leg?"

"Tobin I'm sorry I can't believe I forgot to tell you. You had an infection about to spread and grow" she tells me in an apology voice.

"It's fine I would forget too if I saw myself too" I say as we both laughed.

I don't remember what happen next just that I had an orange cast on my leg, and I knew now I had to wait until it's all heal to take it off. I sat there, and I saw the time it was soccer practice. I was upset about it, but I was ready to apologize to Alex if she comes to see me.

I was watching sportcenter and then I saw my intern come in she smiled as I smiled back. "So intern what do I call you" I say as looked at me.

"So Tobin. You can call me Marley" she tells me as I smile.

"Okay Marley so how long am I here, for" I asked as she looked at me with a no clue expression.

"Sorry Tobin I really don't know" she answers backs as she was about to hear my heart.

She was checking my heart, blood pressure and other things. We talked, flirted a bit, and I think it was pretty fun until I heard a coughing noise. "Alex you are here" I say as Marley was finishing up on me.

Marley left, and Alex sat next to me with her arm crossed. I saw she might get mad at me, so I knew I had to say something quick. "How was school and did my grandpa leave?" I say as she moved up to me.

"Yes and school boring" she says before I felt her lips on mine.

"Missed you too babe" I say into her mouth.

She pulls away and says, "doesn't seem like it."

"Come on Alex, I love you not them or her" I say as I knew she was getting jealous.

"Love you too" she says as she laid next to me and then noticed my orange cast.

We laid there for a extended while, and until I knew she had to go. We kissed for a long time then we heard someone knock on the door. It was my doctor, and I kept quiet this time. Alex and I said our good-byes as she left, and I was alone with Taylor, and next my grandpa showed up again and he brought my charger.

It was a funny day and strange one as I laid there thinking about my soccer life and Alex. My grandpa stayed for a while before leaving one more time. I finally was on my phone, so I text Alex, played games and checking social media. It was boring here, and I was ready to leave this place and be back home in my real bed.
