JOHNS POV

I walked down the hallway towards my room.. our room, and smiled at the memory of tonight. My parents were so glad to see her again and dinner went almost too well. It made me happy knowing that my parents excepted and loved her almost as much as I did. She's still in that quiet shy stage around them as of now which I find painfully cute, as she tries to tip toe her way around everything in hopes of not upsetting them. She just wants them to like her, but in fact they love her. They were so disappointed in me when they found out what I did to her.

I finally reached the door and opened it to find quite a sight. Katy was laying on the bed in one of her oversized sweaters cuddled up to moose. They both seemed to be out and I ever so quietly took a picture of them, immediately posting it on instagram. We needed to officially tell the world we were back together. People were becoming suspicious, especially her extremely dedicated almost detective like fans.. so this was the perfect timing.

"Let's have a vote.. who's cuter Moose or Katy? love you, baby @.katyperry " I captioned it and posted it, watching my mentions explode almost immediately. It was crazy, the responses I was getting and I laughed to myself as I read what they had to say, more than half freaking out. As I scrolled through the comments I heard a ruffled sound come from the bed and looked up to see Katy sitting up.

She smiled at me and I walked towards the both of them. "Hey Moose, I know you just got your katy back but so did I.. " I chuckled scooting him over so that I could sit down beside her.

"Jealous because he missed me more than he could ever miss you?" She giggled leaning into my chest where I wrapped my arms around her.

"You have no idea how much we missed you." I whispered as my lips grazed against her cheek where I planted a light kiss there. I looked down to see her blushing and only held her tighter, the love I felt for her growing with each second I was around her.

"My parents were so happy to see you. I think you being here made their entire year." I laughed as she shifted in my arms, absentmindedly playing with my fingers that were locking with hers.

"I'm glad..." she smiled tucking her hair behind her ears. "Your mom told me that I was her favorite so if I were you I'd keep me around for awhile." She teased, as she simultaneously sat on my lap so that we were face to face.

"Well I plan on keeping you around forever." I said seriously, instantly dropping the teasing that was taking place moments ago. Though I told her multiple times how much I loved her it was never enough. That sentence alone was enough to earn a smile in my direction though.

"Good.." she whispered, as tears glistened in her eyes. She let out a little laugh, due to the fact that she was tearing up and quickly wiped them away. "I'm sorry I just.. it doesn't seem real. A few weeks ago I was home alone, wondering if I'd ever see you again and now I'm with you..."

"Don't think about that.." I whispered as I wiped the few tears she had missed off her cheek. I hadn't realized how much this whole situation effected her until now.. I mean I knew she was upset but never to this extent.

"John...." she said barely above a whisper, running her hands through the back of my hair, probably nervously.

"Hm?"

"Why did you want to be with me in the first place? Why... why did you fight so hard for me? Why didn't you just give up like anyone else would have.."
