Mistakes

I groaned as I stretched. I had a pounding headache. I rolled over then heard someone else groan. I knew I wasn't at home so it wasn't Dre. Oh shit.... my eyes popped opened. I looked over to see a naked Nina Covered in a sheet. I looked down to see I was naked also. My heart began to race. I didn't. Oh my god, please tell me I didn't! Nina woke up and realized what happened and saw that I was freaking out. "Oh my god! Michael, I'm so sorry!" She said freaking out too. I started looking around the bed and floor. "What are you looking for?" She asked. "A condom wrapper or something! Please tell me we at least used protection!" I hollered. "Look in the trash can. " She yawned. I did as told and thankfully I found my used Condom. I took a deep breath then got my clothes on. "This never happened." I stated. She nodded. I walked out and called a cab. My heart was still racing. I can't believe I just cheated on Dre. My girlfriend, the mother of my child the woman I want to marry. Tears were forming in my eyes as I sat in the back of the cab. "You okay back there?" The cab driver asked. I nodded. "Everyone makes mistakes." He added. "You don't even know what happened." I replied. "Let me take a wild guess you got drunk and did something stupid?" He asked. I didn't respond. "Just don't do it again & you'll be fine." He said. I nodded hearing him. "She must be special." He said. "Very." I replied calming down. "Should I tell her?" I asked him, a complete stranger. "Save her the heart ache. Just don't do it again. Maybe in the future but I'm guessing she maybe already stressed. Don't make her have to worry about you being here." I nodded understanding.
We got to the college and I paid him. "You're gonna be fine." He said then driving off. I walked to my droom. Wesley was so passed out. Then my phone started to ringing and it was Dre. "Hey baby." I answered softly. "Hey, how you feeling? " She giggled making my heart melt. "Like shit." I replied. "Did you take medicine?" She asked. "Not yet. I haven't ate yet today." "Well get some food baby and c take some meds. Did you have fun at least?" She asked. "No.... I wish I would've just came home. I miss you guys so much. " I replied
"we miss you too. I hate sleeping alone." She pouted.
"Yeah. .." I replied still discombobulated. "Are you okay baby?" She asked softly. "Yeah just tired & miss you guys. I'm kind of home sick I guess." I said.
"Maybe me & Ari can visit you down there tomorrow then. I'm sure your mom would like that too."
"That sounds fantastic baby." I smiled lightly. "I'll talk to your mom." She said. "Well I let you go to sleep now just Call at-" "8pm I know baby. " I giggled.
" Alright Mr. Smarty pants. I'll talk to you later. I love you baby." She said.
"I love you more baby. Bye. " I said hanging up. I felt I like I just fucked everything up. I hate keeping secrets from her but I can't lose her. She needs me & I need her. I do love her I just made a mistake. I learned my lesson. No more drinking!
" aye mike. When you get home? " Wesley yawned. "I've been home."
"Did you have fun last night? " He asked. " I guess." I replied changing clothes. "Well there's one next weekend-" "I'm going home next weekend. I miss my family." I snapped. "Damn mike. Okay." He said. It was silent. "So. ...Nina...." He asked. I cringed as he said that. "What about her? " I asked. "I know you hit that last night." He grinned. "It's not funny wes! I cheated on my girlfriend! I can not believe I did that! I'm so stupid!" I hollered. "Mike calm down. What she doesn't know won't hurt her okay? You had a little too much fun, now you know your limits." He said.
" True.... just can we please act like it never Happened?" I begged. He nodded. "How was it though? " He asked. I typed my eyes, "I don't remember."

I did my best to avoid Nina. I started going to the gym at a different time and made sure to not look at her in the hall way. I didn't want to hurt her, but I was more concerned about Dre. "Babe Are you coming out today?" I asked. She sighed, "no...sorry baby. I don't feel comfortable driving the baby that far by myself." She said. "It's fine," I replied. " I am really sorry baby. I Miss you so much." She said desperately. "I miss you too baby girl. How's my girl doing? " I asked. "She's sound asleep. She tried hard food today." She replied. "What was it?" I asked. "Cheerios. She loves the honey covered ones. " She slightly giggled. "You're tired." I stated. "Yeah, she kept me up most the night. Her teeth coming in its really bothering her." She replied. "Babe get some sleep then." I stressed. "I just wanna talk some more. Please. I miss you so much." Her voice cracked. "Baby don't cry. " I begged. "Im sorry. I'm emotional. I just get really lonely." She replied sniffling, she was crying now.... "babe were gonna be fine. I know this is hard but we can do this." I told her. She took a deep breath, "I know." She said calming down. "I love you so much baby. I want you to get some sleep, okay? " I said. "Okay." She said softly. "I love you too. "
"Bye baby. " I said.
" Bye." She said then I hung up. After a couple hours I sent her a cute little text for her to wake up to, to make her feel better.
