MICHAEL'S POV ~ ~ ~ ~
I kept pacing outside. I didn't know what to do. Stacey and Chris came out to talk to me. "You okay man?" Chris asked. "I'm fine." I said.
" I knew she'd ruin this event." Stacey said.
" Shut up stacey. I know you told her to put Ari in foster care, before anyone mention adoption to her. So i don't wanna hear shit from you. " I said walking inside.
" daddy."Jayden said walking inside with Jackie.
I picked Jayden up. "Are you otay daddy?" He asked. "I'm fine buddy, just tired." I told him. "Me too, I think we need to go home." He said. I smiled softly.
" are you sure your okay bro?" Jackie asked.
" I guess. What the hell am I suppose to do?" I asked as I laid Jayden on the couch to sleep.
" Let the past stay in the past. You all are here now. That's what matters." Jackie said.
" yeah, well I'm going to go say goodnight to ari." I said going upstairs. I walked to her room. Her lights were out
I peaked into her room to see her and Dre cuddling. Dre was asleep as Ari was playing with Dre's hair.
"Pst." I hissed.
Ari looked back. She got out of bed. "Are you leaving?" She asked.
" yeah Jayden is asleep. It's getting late." I told her.
I kneeled down and hugged her tight. "I love you." I told her.
" I love you too daddy....maybe one day you & mommy will be friends and not argue." She said.

" you heard us arguing?" I asked worried. She nodded. "I'm not mad at you. Mom says love makes you do stupid things, & you fell in love with someone else." She said.
"Yeah, I did a lot of stupid things. Then karma bit me in the butt. But I love you so much babygirl. I'll see you tomorrow hopefully." I told her kissing her cheek then I left.
I took Jayden to bed with me, as I just laid there staring at the ceiling. There's just to much going on. "daddy." Jayden whined. "Shhhh were home buddy." I said. "Uh uh" He whined rolling over trying to reach me.
I pull him to me. He was waking up. "Go back to sleep buddy." I told him, rubbing his belly.
"Nuh uh." He said.
" did you have fun today?" I asked him.
" yeah, I like willow. She's nice." He yawned.
"But she pushed you down?" I asked.
"She was mad. Kind of like when you got mad today you yelled at Dre." He said.
" did everyone see that?" I groaned. He nodded.
"But Danny is mean. He kept telling me my hair was funny, but willow likes my hair. She said it looks like Arwe's (ari's)" He said. "You both got my hair." I giggled.
" yeah, but then she has a mommy & I don't. How do I get a mommy?" He asked.
" It's whoever you want. But pick wisely. You only get one." I told him. "Nuh uh, Arwe has 2 mom's & dad's"
"Her situation is different." I told him.
" I just weally want one." He said.
" I know, I wish you had one." I told him.
"it Otay though. I love my daddy so much I don't need a mommy." He said. I smiled widely. It's moments like these that I live for, all my hard work &money? Nothing compares to moments like these with my son. I kissed his head. "Well I love my son so much that I wouldn't trade anything for him, even baseball tickets." I said (baseball is a big deal to him, it's his whole world.)
" baseball?! You must really love me." He gasped.
I just laughed. " get some sleep child."
We cuddled then went to sleep.
I was woken up by a phone call. "Hello?" I answered
"Hi daddy." Aria replied.
"Hey princess, what's up."
"Well we are going out for brunch. Even grandma is coming. You wanna come? " She asked. "Uh yeah of course. Where are you guys going?" I asked.
"Jetts." She said.
" we'll definitely be there. Give us like 30 minutes." I said.
" mom's coming too, with the triplets. Josh & Erin are having a day out." She said.
" That's fine, Jayden will be excited to see willow. I'll see you soon babygirl."
"Alright love you dad. Bye.
" love you too" I said hanging up.
We got dressed & left to go to Jetts.
"Mom is running late." Ari said. "She's late to everything." I replied.
" am not." She replied walking in with the kids.
" you try getting three 2 year Olds ready." She said grabbing 3 high chairs.
" hi willow!" Jayden cheesed.
" hi jayden." Willow said waving.
"So what are Josh & Erin plans today?" Shawn asked
"They went shopping then they're going out for lunch. Josh is going to show her around. Then they're going to my parents house." She said.
" I can I go meet your parents with them?!" Ari asked excited.
"No." Dre & I both said at the same time. We glanced at eachother embarassed. Aria's eyes were wide with shock.
"I told you why I don't want you to meet them." Dre said calmly.
" I'll get to meet them eventually though right?" Ari asked.
Dre glanced around the room. "Maybe." She said.
Liz just started giggling.
"Katherine, how's Joe doing?" Liz asked.
" He's doing fine. Just works a lot." She said sweetly.
" mama! Can I come over today?" Jayden asked.
" I wanna go too!" Aria said excited.
"Me three!" Willow shouted.
"Do you even know where your wanting to go?" Dre laughed at Willow.
" I wanna go wherever Jayden is going." She smiled.
"That's fine. We all could come to my house for a little BBQ. The kids could play. We all could catch up. We could invite chris and stacey." Katherine smiled.
"No." Dre said. "I think I got enough dirty looks from them yesterday." Dre said with a hurt expression.
" maybe we should keep it just family mom." I added. "That's fine." She replied.
"Yay!" Jayden hollered
We ate brunch and then went to moms.

I watched as Dre walked in. She looked uncomfortable. She glanced around the house, I guess it brought back the memories.
