Time Needed

DRE'S POV ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Time seemed to go by slow. The pain was bad. The physical and emotional pain. I've been here for a week and I just want to go home. Everyone comes & visits besides Michael because I told him I didn't want me to see him.

" mom, I brought some movies." Ari said pulling DVD's out of her bag.
"Awh thanks sweetie. Put in your favorite one." I told her with a light smile. She's always been my light of happiness. She put in a movie then got into bed with me. She snuggled up to me, then looking up at me. "What?" I giggled. She smiled lightly then frowned. "Daddy is going to a therapist now. He said he has some problems & he said this was all his fault so he's getting help." She said.
I just rolled my eyes. It really took me almost dying for him to get help? "He's really sorry mom." She said.
" I know babygirl. But my feelings are still really hurt so I need time away from him." I said to her softly. "I know. I was mad at him too. But mom & dad said I need to just not get in between your guys issues." She said. "They're right." I told her.
We laid there watching movies & cuddling till I felt myself getting wet between my legs. I sat up, then seeing a blood spot. My eyes widen, "mommy! Your bleeding!"Ari freaked out. I pressed my button for a doctor. They came rushing in & quickly noticed the problem.
"Sweetie, we need you to wait outside the room." They told ari. "Aria call Josh or Erin & tell them to get here." I panicked. She nodded scared. Seeing my own blood made me feel sick. I passed out, I felt so drained.

I woke up to the familiar beeping of the hospital monitors. I glanced around seeing my babygirl sleeping on the couch and Josh speaking with a doctor. "Josh." I said with raspiness in my voice. He walked over to me, "how you feeling?" He asked. "Alright. What happen to me? " I asked. He gave me a sad look, "I'll let the doctor explain." He said. The doctor walked over looking at his clip board.
"Are you feeling any pain Audrey?" He asked. "A little. Not much." I said.
" Audrey, the blood that was coming out of you was coming from your uterus." He told me.
I looked at him confused. "Your ovaries are shutting down." He stated.
" Wait, what? Why? Can't you stop it?!" I asked freaking out. He shook his head. "We tried but nothing was reviving them. The impact from the accident damaged your ovaries & parts of your uterus too bad." He said.
Tears start streaming down my face. "S-so, I can't have anymore babies?" I asked hurt. "I'm truly sorry Audrey but I'm afraid that is the case. " He said. I didn't speak after that. Ari walked up to my bed as I just stared down at my feet. "Mom." She said gently, as she stroked my arm. I then suddenly brusted into tears. "Mom don't cry. It'll be okay." Ari said. "Sis everything is going to be okay."Josh said rubbing my back.
" i-ill never get the chance to prove I can be a good mom! I'll never get to carry another baby! No one is ever going to want me!" I cried.
" That's not true Dre. You can always adopt." He said . I shook my head sobbing. Ari got on the bed, hugging me. "You're a good mom." She said.
I wrapped my arms around her tight. " I love you mom." She said gently. "I love you more baby girl."

ARIA'S POV ~ ~ ~ ~
I hated seeing her like this. She was so broken & I just want to fix her. She's been crying all day, since they told she can't have any more babies, I've watched her hit rock bottom. I told her I loved her every opportunity I got, & every time I did I could a little light shine in her eyes.
" Jayden wants to see you." I told her.
"I miss Jayden, but Michael doesn't want me around him." She sniffled.
"Mom, dad is getting help, he wants you to be in Jayden's life." I tried explaining to her for the 3rd time.
"Okay. He can come here today." She said.
My face lit up, I got my phone & called dad & told him.
Within the next hour he was here. He knocked on the door & I let him in. He gently came in the room with Jayden. Jj was so happy to see Dre!
"Hi dre!" He said excited as dad carried him over to mom.
"Hi jayden, I've missed you." She smiled as Jayden reached for her and she took him into her lap.
"You look better! You must feel better too!" He said happy.
" Kind of. But I do feel better since you're here." She told him.
"I'm glad you're okay. When you go home?" He asked. "Hopefully soon." She said tired. "Yeah cause then you can play with me & willow....." Jayden was talking mom's ear off. He really missed her.
"Daddy, I'm hungry." I said.
" Do you want to go get something or go to the vending machine?" He asked.
" Go get something." I said smiling. "Okay, is he okay here with you, Dre?" Dad asked. "Yeah." She smiled softly. "Do you want some food?" Dad asked nervous.
"sure, just get me some fries or something." She said.
Me & dad walked out to his truck. I got in the car, buckling up.
We drove in silence till he spoke. "She seemed upset." He stated. "Yeah, the doctors told her she can't have anymore kids. Something about ovaries shutting down." I said softly. "What? Are you serious?" He asked.
" yeah, she's been so upset, she thinks she can never prove that she can be a good mom and she said no ones ever going to want her now. So I've been trying to love on her a lot, hoping maybe Jayden being here will get her mind off of it." I said.
"That's terrible." Dad said shaking his head truly sad for mom. "She can always adopt though." I said trying to look on the bright side.
"That's true babygirl but when women can't have babies, to them it's like losing a part of their womanhood. I mean she's wanted to have another baby and now she cant. That's a hard thing to go through then plus the one baby she did have she didn't even get to raise." He explained.
" yeah, true. I just wish she could find some happiness. She's so sad daddy." I said getting upset.
"And im sorry I've caused some of this sweet heart. I don't why I took so much of my anger out on her. I've been just so anger at life too, and I took it out on the wrong person." He apologized. "At least you're realizing it. Our little family just has some problems they have to figure out." I said wipping my tears. "That's right and it'll make use stronger." He said.
"You want KFC? I know your mom likes it." He said. I nodded fast, I love KFC!
"You're just like your mom." He giggled.
We got some chicken, mash potatoes, and other stuff and brought it back to the hospital.
"I was just craving KFC!" Mom said moaning in hunger.
"it was daddy's idea." I smiled as I looked at my dad as his face held a nervous expression. Ever since all this stuff happened, it's like we're back at square one with these two. Now he's scared to talk to her or be around her.....
"Daddy what do I get?" Jj said as he sat on mom's lap.
"Some chicken and mash potatoes." Dad replied
"Ohhh yummy!" He said excited.
We ate & it was an awkward silence till Uncle Josh came in.
"Hey sis how you feeling?" He asked. Mom just shrugged as sadness over came her again.
"Well you get to come home today." He said.
" Really? !" She said.
He nodded. "So when you get finished eating I got clothes for you to change into then we're going to the new house. " He said.
"Did you guys clean out my condo?" She asked confused. "Yeah, I just moved you back in with us cause the doctor said you'll have a hard time getting around." He said.

Aunt erin helped mom get dressed then they signed her out. Josh pushed mom in a wheel chair out to the car. "Mom, dad is taking me to your house." I told her. "okay." She said as I hugged her. "I love you mom." I told her. "Love you more babygirl." She smiled lightly.
DRE'S POV ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
once Ari left, my anxiety came back. I have to get into a car. The last time I got into a car I nearly died. I don't want that happening again. "No." I stated as Josh was about to help me get in the car. "No? No what? " He asked.
" I'm not getting in a car!" I said frustrated. "Dre, we're not gonna wreck." He said. Tears flowed down my face, "no! I said no! I don't wanna die!" I cried. "Dre you're gonna be okay, just get in the car." Erin said.
" please don't make me get in the car!" I cried. "We have to get you home some how." Josh said. I just kept crying. He picked me up, putting me in the car as I hid my face in my hands and cried. The whole ride home I was shaking, crying with my head in my hands.
Finally the car came to a halt. "We're home." Erin said. "Just let her calm down for a minute." Josh told her. A couple minutes past & then Josh spoke, "are you ready to get out?". I nodded opening my door. Selena was there to help me get out, I limped into the house till she set me on the couch. I didn't even bother looking at my new home. I stared down at my lap, lost in my depressing thoughts.
"Mom?" My daughter's sweet voice called, separating me from my thoughts. "Mmm?" I asked
"Are you okay?" She asked sitting next to me. "I'm just tired baby." I told her.
" Do you want me to take you to your room to rest?" Selena asked.
I nodded. There was a little elevator in the house that I got on. Once we got to my door I stopped, "i got it from here, thank you." I told her. She left going back down stairs. I slowly limped into my new room looking around. I instantly broke out into tears feeling the deja vu from when I moved in with Josh after I gave Ari up.
I heard the floor creek behind me, I turned to see Michael stepping foot into my room. "What are you doing in here?" I said rudely, wiping my tears.
" I heard you crying, I was just making sure you weren't in pain." He said softly.
I scoffed, "since when have you EVER cared if I was in pain? " I spat hatefully.
"Dre, I'm sorry, I'm getting help. I-" He began. "You getting help now, doesn't fix the damage you've already caused. You've put me through hell and never gave a damn about how I felt! But now that I nearly died you wanna get help?" I asked looking at him confused. "I don't know what you want me to do." He said shrugging. "I want you to feel the way I feel. So worthless you don't even wanna live! Through the lying & cheating, the way you treated me when I was nothing but good to you! You took advantage of me! I was so naive, & you knew that! You never loved me the way I loved you! -" "dre-i-"
"No you let me finish! You've taken your anger out on me for to long it's my turn!" I cried.
"If you weren't happy with me, you should've told me instead of dragging me along. We were a family Michael, A FAMILY! But all you cared about was you, & I was suppose to be your piece of ass back home when you weren't fucking that slut! You ruined me, I couldn't even look at my self, I tried killing myself because of all the shit you put me through, I spent a year in a girls home because Josh didn't trust me alone cause he was to scared he'd find me dead! I am done being your punching bag!" I yelled crying. "I'm sorry, I-i didn't know." He said as he placed his hands on arms stepping closer to me. "I don't know how to fix this. I don't want you to feel like this." He said as a tear slipped from his eye. I have never seen him cry before. "I hate you." I told him. "Dre-" He said inches away from me but I banged my fist on to his chest telling him I hated him again. I repeated my actions till my body became tired. I leaned onto his chest just crying. He wrapped his arms around me, trying to calm me down.
"You need to rest." He said. I didn't respond. He then picked me up, then laid me in my bed. I refused to make eye contact with him, "im going to make this right." He said. "You cant. I can never get her back." I said blankly staring at the wall. Soon my door closed as he left. It felt good to let that all out but I cannot believe I told him I tried to kill myself.
Soon there was a knock at the door, "mom." Her voice said softly.
"You can come in babygirl." I said, the door opened and in came willow, cam, danny, Jayden and Ari. They all ran towards my bed, trying to climb up to me. Ari helped them all get up.
"I missed you!" Willow said sitting by me. "I missed you too." I smiled. They all sat around me telling me what they did while I gone then Ari decided to put in a movie and we all laid together. I fell alseep half way through the movie.
"Aunt dre, wakey wakey ! Dinner time." Cam said poking my face.
"Do you need help getting up?" Selena asked. I nodded as I rubbed my eyes. "come on cam," Erin said as I sat up. They all climbed off the bed as Ari & Selena helped me get up.
We sat at the dinner table and ate in silence, well at least us adults did. Jayden, willow, cam, danny & ari were talking but me, erin, Selena & Josh kept quiet.
"Where'd michael go?" I asked softly.
"He had a couple erands to run so he's going to pick Jayden & ari up at 8pm." Erin said. I nodded. "How are you feeling?" Erin asked. "I'm just so exhausted." I said tired.
"How are you liking your room?" Josh asked.
"That bed is amazing, it's so comfy." I said.
" good, I got the best bed for you to help you be comfortable & hopefully help you rest better." He said.
"Thank you Josh, you've always gone out & beyond for me." I smiled.
"I wanna take care of you. I treat you how I would treat willow." He said.
I smiled lightly, josh has always loved me unconditionally.
"Daddy here!" Jayden said excited.
"I don't wanna leave." Ari pouted.
"You got school tomorrow sweetie-"
"Mom started home schooling me." She said.
"What? Why? " I asked confused.
"Because with all of this stuff & between me getting to meet you & daddy I've been missing a lot of school so they're gonna home school me for a little bit." She said.
"Can ari stay the night?" Willow asked
"Can I mom? " She asked with her puppy dog eyes.
"Ask your mom." I said.
She went and called Liz as Michael walked in. Jayden hopped down from his chair running to michael.
"Daddy!" He squealed. Michael caught him as he lifted him in the air then put him on his hip. "Hi buddy. I can see you took a nap." Michael giggled referring to jj's crazy curls. "Yeah I was sleepy." Jayden giggled.
"I can stay the night!" Ari shouted excitedly.
I smiled as she hugged me. "Can I sleep with you mom?" She asked. "Of course, Unless YOU Wanna Sleep with willow." I giggled. ,I sweep with you too!" Willow whined. "Fine." I giggled.

"I wanna stay too!" Jayden whined. "Michael, Jayden stay too." Willow said tugging on Michaels pant leg.
"Pweeasse daddy!" Jayden said giving him his best puppy dog face. "Buddy, you don't have any clothes." Michael told him.
"He can just wear some of cam's." Erin said. Michael looked down at Jayden, "I guess." He smiled. "Yayyy!" Jayden said throwing his arms up.

Michael left and we all got ready for bed. Once I got settled, willow, Ari and Jayden all got into bed with me.
Jayden laid on Ari as he watched the movie she had put in & willow cuddled me.
"I wuv you." Willow said. "I love you too." I said kissing her head. Soon we all were quick to fall asleep
