Dre's POV ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

He's been so short with me lately....was it something I did or said? He's not even coming home this weekend, which breaks my heart.

"Baby, are you okay?" I asked over the phone.
"Dre, stop asking me that. I am fine." He said irritated.
"Sorry." I said softly.
He let out a breath, "No I'm sorry. I shouldn't be getting so irritated with you. I'm just stressed." He replied.
" It's okay." I replied.
It was silent, "you're coming home next weekend, right?" I asked.
"I hope so, but with having all these finals I really got to pass these babe."
"Oh...okay." I said disappointed.
"Dre, ah. I really want to come home."
"I know, schools important. I understand. I just miss you a lot." I replied.
" I uh miss you too. But hey I gotta go babe. I'll Talk to you later." He said.
"I love you." I said quickly as he hung up.
My heart ached as he didn't say it back. What is going on with him?
Tears stained my cheeks as I rocked Ari to sleep. " dadada" She kept mumbling. "He'll be home soon sweetie, he's just going through a rough time." I said to her then laying her in her bed.

I woke up and got dressed in some of the clothes michael bought me. I dressed Ari and handed her off to Liz. I skipped breakfast and went to school.

"Girl what's wrong with you?" Stacy asked.
I sighed, "michael, he's being so different. He just randomly gets irritated with me, he hasn't been saying I love you back to me. He's not coming home this weekend or the next. I think I'm losing him Stacy." I cried. She rubbed my back comforting me. "Do you want me to have Chris talk to him? " Stacy asked. I shook my head, "no he'll just end up even more mad at me." I said wipping my tears.
" Well can I tell you some news? " She smiled lightly
"I already know you're pregnant stacy." I said giggling. "Wait what? Who told you?" She asked.
" I can tell." I replied. "Well congrats. I hope chris doesn't turn out like Michael." I told her. "I don't think he will." She mumbled
"I'm sorry Stacy I didn't mean to bring you down. I'm just really hurt right now." I said.
"I know, but you got me girl." She said. I smiled
"Hey may be you should surprise him. Go visit him. Him driving 3 hours home every weekend is probably stressfull. Maybe you should pay him a visit." She said.
" you know what, that's a good idea!" I smiled.

After school let out, I got Ari and went home. I talked to Katherine about going to see Michael because he won't be home for 2 weeks and she approved. I jumped with happiness!
We're going to visit him monday.
MICHAEL'S POV ~ ~ ~
Nina stayed the night again. I still haven't made up my mind yet. Everytime I talk to Dre she makes me feel so guilty cause she's still so dedicated to us and im.....not. me and Ari are her world and I can't bring myself to crush her heart. She's so delicate....
" I'll you see later." Nina said kissing me. "See yah." I replied.

I went to all my classes then went back to my dorm. I laid back watching TV with Wesley when someone knocked on the door. I looked at Wesley as he looked at me. "Were you expecting anyone?" He asked getting up. I shook my head no. he looked through the peephole.
"Shit!" He whispered. "Dude its your girlfriend!"
"What?" I yelled in a whisper.
She knocked again. "Uh just a minute." Wesley said.
" Dude clean that shit up!" He said pointing to my used Condom wrappers. As fast as we could we cleaned up. 3 minutes later I opened the door to see my daughter and girlfriend. "Hey baby." She smiled shyly. "Babe what are you doing here?" I asked not so thrilled. Her head instantly dropped, "do you not want us here? I thought you'd like to see our daughter. " She said slightly upset.
" No no no, baby. I want you guys here. It's just our rooms a mess. We weren't prepared for guest." I told her.
"Oh....well we will just go then." She said as she was about to walk away. I grabbed arm. "Baby stay. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound harsh. I want to spend time with you guys." I said hold her face. "Okay. " She replied.
Ari was reaching for me, she whined till I took her. We sat on my bed, and just talked for a bit. "Dadadada." Ari smiled. "Daddy misses you too babygirl." I said attacking her with kisses.
" She says your name every night before she goes to sleep. " Dre commented.
" Dre stop trying to make me feel bad." I shot back at her. She looked a bit taken back from my out burst. "I'm sorry." She said softly.
God damn it I need to stop being mean to her.
"Im sorry, I don't know why I keep taking my anger out on you. I'm just really stressed right now." I said grabbing her hand. She wouldn't even look at me. She just nodded and kept her eyes on the TV. She laid down on her side, with her back towards me. I used my free hand to lightly massage her back. Her eyes started closing, I can tell she's tired too, she got light bags under her eyes. "Take a nap baby. It looks like Ari is tired too." I said rubbing her side. She nodded then cuddled the blankets to her chin.
I laid Ari on my chest and pulled Dre towards me. She finally turned around and rested her head on my chest. I played with her hair lightly, "I really am sorry baby." I whispered. She gave me a half smile. I kissed her forehead then her lips. Eventually she kissed me back. "That's my girl." I mumbled against her lips making her finally give a genuine smile. Ari grabbed my hair, "ouch, you butt head." I giggled grabbing her hand. "Mamama" She babbled.
Dre giggled tickling Ari's tummy. Ari giggling and kicked her feet. "She's getting so big." I said admiring my daughter.

Ari clapped her hands as she bounced in my hands.

*knock knock* "who's at the door now?" Wesley groaned. He got up and peeped through the peephole. He looked over to me with wide eyes. While Dre was focused on Aria, welsey and I were having a silent conversation. "Nina!" He mouthed.
Instantly I panicked. "Get rid of her." I mouthed. He shurgged. She knocked again. He opened the and there Nina stood. Her eyes glued to me and Dre. Dre finally looked up.
She looked confused as the room was just silent. "Uh, sorry I-i didn't mean to interrupt anything." Nina stuttered.
" babe, I think she has a dirty diaper.' Dre said picking Ari up. "I'll help you baby." I said quickly so I could get out of this situation. Before I entered the bathroom I looked back at Nina to see a death glare. "im sorry" I mouthed. She shook her head and walked away.
I helped Change Ari's diaper then we laid down.
We slept longer than we meant to. It was 8pm.
Dre was getting Ari's bag. "Babe, maybe you guys should just stay the night. It's to late for you to be driving." I said holding Ari.
"I've got school though babe." She replied silently stressed. "Let me call my mom, I really don't like the idea of you driving this late." I said.
"Okay." She replied, "Wait, babe. I'm gonna have to go home. I only have one diaper in here for Ari." She sighed.
"We can always go get some. I'll keep them here for whenever you guys visit." I said.
" Michael we can't afford-"
"Babe, stop worrying about money. I got us." I groaned.
"If you say so." She sighed.
"Do you think I can't support us?" I asked offended.
" No baby, I'm just saying we need to watch our money. What if there's some emergency?" She said.
I just rolled my eyes. "Whatever Dre do whatever the fuck you want." I said throwing my phone down.
" Well im definitely not staying, not after the way you've been treating me!" She shot back.
"Oh yeah I know you're so mistreated. Let's all have pity party for you." I chuckled.
"I drive fucking three hours here to just spend 4 hours with you, and this is what I get. This is the last time I ever fucking do this! Bring your daughter to you so you can spend time with her. You want to see her? You're gonna fucking have to come home!" She cried, picking up Aria then walking out the door, slamming it. "Fuck." I mumbled.
"Dude you were a kind of harsh." Wesley commented.
I ran after her. She was putting Aria her car seat, as tears ran down her cheeks. " Dre. DRE!" I hollered running to her car. She slammed the door ignoring me, opening her door. I grabbed her arm, pulling her towards
Me. " baby listen, baby. I'm sorry." She shoved me away. "No! I am so done with the way you've been acting! I've done nothing wrong to you. You know I've got homework and finals to study for too! But i don't take it out on you! So I don't want to hear shit from you till you can act like the man I fell in love with!" She cried getting into her car slamming the door. I banged my fist on the window, "let me say goodbye to my daughter at least." I begged.
She rolled her eyes, unlocking the doors. I opened up the back, sitting next to her car.
She smiled at me squealing. " Hey babygirl." I smiled brushing my finger across her cheek.
"Hurry up! I've gotta get some sleep tonight." Dre said still wipping tear off her face.
" daddy's gotta go. Alright. I'll come home soon to see you guys." I said. Dre scoffed.
" I love you babygirl." I said then kissing her cheek.
"Audrey-"
"Get out Michael!" She shouted. I got out and watched her drive off.
"Shit!" I yelled kicking rocks.

I sat on my bed just thinking.
"Can I put my 2 cents in?" Wesley asked.
I nodded. "Don't keep stringing her along."
"I cant bring my self to break her heart." I said.
" You're gonna end up causing real damage. Im just saying." He replied.
"I'll figure something out." I mumbled.
"I need fresh air." I said getting up and leaving.
I sat out on a bench and texted Nina.
5 minutes later she came to meet up with me. She next to me on the bench.
"It's not easy to just cut things off with her." I stated.
"Yeah I bet, especially when you're cuddling her in bed we fuck in." She replied with smart ass attitude.
"You don't understand Nina. Me and that baby is all she has! I don't think I love her anymore but who is she gonna have when I break up with her?"
Nina started smiling, "why are you smiling ? I'm freaking the fuck out. " I exclaimed
"So you're picking me? You wanna be with me? " She asked shy.
I smiled lightly. "Of course I do." I kissed her lips softly.
"I know you're stressed. Let's just leave it alone for now. Ill help you figure something out." She said.
We went back to my dorm and hung out for the rest of the night.
