A Lovely Surprise

It's graduation day. A day at one point in my life I thought I'd never experience. "Look at her josh! I feel like a proud mother." Erin said.
"I cant believe this is happening to me." I said beyond excited.
" I am so proud of you sis." Josh said hugging me.
" alright I'll meet you guys at the arena! I'm gonna be late." I said rushing out the door.
I was having the time of my life honestly. I have great friends, Josh and Erin got married a couple months ago. Things are perfect. I met up with Selena at the parking lot. We lock our hands together excited to end this journey of high school.
We took our seats waiting for our names to be called for our diploma.
I walked across the stage shaking my superintendent's hand and taking my diploma. Josh & Erin met me at the stairs they huge me tight cheering. Then to look past them to see my mom & dad. "Mom! Dad!" I said running to hug them. They hugged me and told me congratulations. Though we don't have a good relationship. I was happy they were here.
After celebrating with my family the day came to an end.
" girl Trey is having a huge party! You gotta go!" Selena said (were bestfriends.)
"Let me ask josh." I said hanging up. I walked up to Josh as he was talking to my parents. " what?" He asked. "Um can I go to trey's party?" I asked.
" is there going to be alcohol? " He asked sternly. I nodded. "I am trusting you. Do not get wasted." He said sternly.
"No she's not going." My dad said.
"what?" I asked confused.
" I said no."
"Well what you say doesn't matter. Josh is the one that's been taking care of me. He told me yes. So goodbye." I said.
" dre." Josh said. I turned around "call me if you need anything." I smiled nodding.
"Your just gonna let her go party?" My mother gasped.
"Let her live a little! Keeping her cooped up and being strict on her will end badly. I've been doing fine with her. So far she hasn't been sneaking out, or moved in with her boyfriend & knocked up. Me and her have a understanding of being honest with each other . If she's starts lying then thing would be different." He said irritated. My parents didn't reply.
I called Selena back.
" is Selena picking you up?" Erin asked.
I nodded
"What are you thinking about?" She asked rubbing my shoulder.
"Do you think all that stuff happened because my parents were strict?" I asked.
" Well you were sneaking around to see Michael. But I don't know why you moved in with him."
"They found out i was sneaking around with him & my mom beat me with metal spoon. So I ran to michaels house. Then I started to live with him." I said.
" I would say probably that played a big part." She giggled.
"Hey don't let them ruin your night. Go have fun. Drink a little but not to much. Okay?" She smiled. I smiled back as Selena pulled up. "I'll see you tomorrow." I said hugging her goodbye.

We got to trey's and everyone was there.
" okay so I'm not suppose to tell you this but I have to. Trey likes you." She said. "What?" I asked confused.
" are you serious Dre after all this time you haven't realized it? He's always flirting with you!"she squealed as I frowned.
" Why are you frowning? Dre come on. I know you like him too!" She said.
"Can we just go to the party please?" I asked. "Fine but I'll get to the bottom of this." She said getting out of the car.

We walked into trey's house and immediately Vince saw us, throwing his arms around us.
" the party has finally arrived!" He hollered.
" the squad is here!" Kyle hollered. They brought us to the counter where there was trey, izzy, nikki, stella, kyle,vince, me and selena. "We all gotta take 2 shots." Trey said standing by me. We lifted up our glasses "cheers to amazing friends and unforgettable nights. Bottoms up!" He hollered. I threw my shot back making a sour face.
"Last one." Kyle said taking the second shot. I took my second shot. I held my mouth trying to not throw up. "Come on girl." Trey said I swollowing the shot.
"There we go !" He giggled. "That was so gross." I laughed.
" Come on, you & I are gonna play beer pong." Trey said. Selena wiggled her eyebrows at me smiling. I just shrugged.

This was our third round of beer pong, after 4 shots & three rounds of beer pong I knew I've had enough.
" No more trey." I said holding on to him. "Okay." He said with his arm around me. I wasn't feeling the best, "will you help me find Selena. I'm not feeling good." I said. "Yeah, wait I think I see her." He said pointing. I looked over & she was making out with Vince.
" shit." I said. "Do you wanna go lay in my bed? No one is allowed in there so no one will disturb you." He said genuinely trying to help. I nodded.
We went up stairs and walked down a long hallway. Finally he unlocked a door, we went into his bedroom. "Do you want a t shirt to change into? " He asked I nodded.
He handed me a Tshirt then I went into his bathroom & changed. After I slipped his shirt on, vomit came up my throat. I hurled over the toilet throwing up. "You okay dre?" He asked. "Yeah I'm sorry trey." I said embarrassed. "Your fine. There's an extra tooth brush in my bottom drawer of you wanna get the taste out of your mouth." He said.
I brushed my teeth & cleaned myself up. I stumbled out of the bathroom. Lucky trey was there to help me get to the bed. I sat down as trey turned on his lamp.
