Unexpected - Chapter 5
"You know, he's dangerous." Katy stated. In the cafeteria I told them what happened yesterday. Of course I didn't call him. He counted on it, but we were still only strangers. Though he didn't seem to think that.
"Dangerous?" I repeated her use of words. He was quite friendly to me. His look, and the fact that his style were only black, and he smoked, said something else. I know you shouldn't judge his style, but still.
"Yeah, i've heard he got arrested. Twice!" Katy raised both of her eyebrows, to show how bad she thought it was. I, on the other hand didn't. It could be a misunderstanding, or nothing crazy.
"He has really bad anger issues, and when he occasionally arrives in school, he is either hungover, or still is drunk, or looks like he is high on drugs." Kara said, sipping at her apple juice.
"Okay, but it's not like we're even friends. It's not a big deal." I said, acting casual, and like it wasn't a big deal, which they thought it was.
Katy just widened her eyes. "Not a big deal? He talked to you, now he's not gonna let you go. He's a total man whore." She exclaimed, which made Andrew chuckle.
"Chill Katy, it's not like Maggie is going to fall for his stupidy."
"Well, I don't know, most girls do. He is acctually really hot, if I should say so myself." She shrugged. He was, but I wasn't gonna agree on that, then she would comepletely freak out.
The bell rang, which signaled me to get to my class. I sat down on a empty chair, and Then the english teacher arrived. He was quite young, compared to my other teachers. He looked like he was in his early thirties.
Just as he started his lesson, someone bashed through the door.
Brad. Was he in this class too? Why wasn't he here yesterday Then? Maybe he skipped them.
He sat down, just as Mr. Greene said: "How kind of you to join, Mr. Simpson."•••
"Maggie!" Someone called out, making almost every person turn their attention to me. I lowered my head a little from the awareness, seeing it was Bradley who called.
"Long time no see, huh?" He siad, raising an eyebrow. We just saw each other yesterday. Not even a whole day was passed by.I didn't answer him, I was to bothered not trying to pay attention to all the student who were looking at us, wierdly.
"Why is everybody staring at us?" I asked quietly, careful not to say it too loud for them to hear it.
He took his arm around my shoulder, and walked. "Ignore them, they're basically dickheads."
We walked outside, while my heart were pounding. What was he doing? He could kidnap me or something. I May be overeacting, but this boy needs to stop acting like we are friends.
"I must say, I'm kinda disapointed in you for not calling me." He changed the subject, unexpected.
"Why should I, we don't even know each other?" I asked, ignoring my nervousness.
"Oh okay, someone is having their panties in a twist, huh?" He chuckled.
"What's my name?" He suddenly asked.
We were now outside the school. Many of the people in the hallway, was there. Many new faces. I didn't see Katy, Kara or Andrew though.
"Bradley?" I looked at him, more asking it as a question.
"Yeah, see! We aren't strangers. We know each other." The corners of his mouth curled up, in a little smile. He was right. I just couldn't get the things Katy said about him, out of my head.
"Right, but I need to go. I'll see you." I forced on a smile, walking away.
"Bye!" He shouted, making me turn around, and wave. He was good looking. Like inanely good looking.
If I was him, I wouldn't even consider talking to me.
