Unexpected - Chapter 29
Tears were literally streaming down my face, as i was walking away from Bradley.
One time he's all sweet and stuff, and the next time, he's the biggest most arrogant prick in the entire World.
I should've listened to Katy in the first place.
I brushed my tears away, as I get a text. I instantly knew who it was from. Kyle.
Kyle - Hey, what do you wanna watch tonight?;)
Me - Idk, you choose:)
I would feel bad, if I said, I didn't want to do anything today. But I really wasn't in the mood. He always asks the wrong times. But I just said I wanted to, anyway.
I hear a beep from my phone, and saw it was Kyle again.
He just said, that we could find out what we wanted to see, when we arrived.
•••
The doorbell rang, and I ran over to open it.
Kyle was wearing a Grey beanie, with a hoodie, underneath a graphic tee, and black jeans. For shoes; black converses.
I looked up, with a smile."You ready?" He asked. Something abou his voice was welcoming. He seed really genuin and kind.
"Yeah." I answered, and we walked into his car.
He opened up the door for me, and I let out a little 'Thanks', as he did. Then sat walked on the other side of the car, and sat down himself.
I always thought it was such a cheesy act. Why couldn't you open it yourself.
We all know, you got that idea, from typical American movies.•••
"So what are we watching?" I asked, as we arrived at the cinema.
I looked up at all the movie, you could choose."I thought we could watch the new James Bond movie. I've heard it should be sick." He said, as I just nodded.
I haven't watched any James Bond movie, but I just said yes anyway. I just appreciated that he even took me out on this... Date?
Was it a date?
Did I even like him that way?I mean; He isn't bad looking, too be honest, he looked quite cute. So is his personality.
Way more than Brad's. He was just being cocky all the time. Or not all the time but almost..
-Stop thinking about him. He isn't Worth it. Just forget about him, I keep repeating in my head.
I went back to reality, as we were now walking inside the Cinema, since Kyle already bought the tickets, while I apparently just stood there thinking about... Him.
•••
"Wasn't it just great?" Kyle asked all excited. He looked like a little child, on christmas eve.
To be honest; I thought it was the biggest pile of shit i've ever seen.
Okay, maybe that was too overreacted, but the only thing in the movie, was lame action scenes. Nothing else, really.
But I didn't wanna say that to him."Yeah, it was briliant." I smiled.
(Brad's POV)
As I sit down in the couch, the door suddenly opened, revealing my mother standing, talking with somebody, through her phone.
"Yeah, bye." She said quietly, and ended the Call, with a sigh.
"Hi, Bradley." She said, sounding a bit stressed.
"Hey." I said, bluntly.
There were a couple of minutes of silence, until my mum said something again.
"Brad, you need to take Vanessa to ballet lessons tomorrow."
"Seriously? Why can't you?" I groaned. "I always do things with her."
"I have to get to this important meeting. I can't miss it." She said, like she lived for that shitty meeting.
"Well, maybe I got something better to do, than driving her to lesson."
"I bet it isn't as important as my meeting." She said, looking in her bag for something.
"You're fucking unbelieveable." I muttered under my breath as I got up from the couch, and was about to grab my jacket.
"What did you say?" She looked angry.
"You heard me." I answered.
"You don't even fucking care about your own daughter. You didn't even take care of me when I was little!
What kind of mother are you?
I am now the one taking care of Van, but that's acctually alright, because I don't want her to have the same fucking childhood as I had. Wanna know why?
Because my childhood sucked!" I spat, took my jacket in my hand, and opened the door."Where do you think you're going?" She asked, comepletely ignoring what I just said.
"That is none of your buisness." I closed the door hard after me, as I left.
I took out a cigaretter from the pack, and sat fire to the end. I inhaled, and blew out the smoke with a sigh.
How did my life get so fucking complicated?
