"Did she take drugs?" I asked.

"No- I-I don't know." She said panicked. I looked at Maggie. They way her skintone turned from her usual fresh skin, almost youtfull, to this dull looking skin, almost grey. Her soft pink lips, was a bit dry and purple undertones.

By this time we were outside Maggie's apartment. She was sitting on a bench, well almost laying on Katy's shoulder. We didn't wanna go inside since her mom was there, but didn't know where else to go. We hoped she got better and could go inside herself.

Confusion, was the only word describing her expression. Her eyes met mine after all. She has been looking down on the ground, her whole body shaking, since I arrived. She frose when she saw me, her body wasn't shaking that much. It almost looked she she didn't even know I was there, until now, as if all the things I said, just went by her ears.

She turned to Katy again, looking almost terrified. "Wha-" she croaked. Her voice wouldn't come out, and she started to shake again.

The bright moon was rigt above us, as midnight passes. I was still trying to figure out what was actually wrong with her, as I look at her face, looking more dull. The lamppost besides the bench, was giving her a yellow tint, making her look ill. Katy was just on the urge to fall asleep, with Maggie laying on her. Her eyelids were gliding down slowly, and she had to force her eyes to stay open.

I think we both was tired, since we haven't really done anything to actually help her. We just stayed with her, hoping she would get better.

"Want me to take over?" I asked, stepping closer. She turned her head to me, nodding slowly, as if she was considering.

She lifted up Maggie's head from her lap, and I held her up, while Katy got up from the bench. I took her seat, placing her head onto my lap instead. I didn't even think she realised we switched. I started to believe that she did take drugs. I just couldn't picture her doing drugs.

Her body was vibrating on mine. Her breathing was unsteady, her eyes was looking straight forward, staring blankly onto nothing.

I caressed her hair trying to calm her down, but it didn't work. It was like she didn't notice it. Like she was distant. Her body just kept on shaking.

Katy on the other side was sitting against the wall right besides us sleeping, at least that's how it looked like.

"Just go home." Her eyes fluttered open, looking at me. "Huh?"

"You can just go home, I'll take care of her." I offered. Her groggy looking face nodded slowly, smiling a bit.

"Thank you. Tell me when she gets better." She stood up, already walking away.

I wanted to say I would, but it was hard to say if she even git any better soon. I lifted her up from the bech, so she was standing up in front of me. I looked at her, but she wasn't even looking at me. Her vision was so distant, like she didn't know I was there.

"Mags?" I whispered. She didn't react. Her breathing became heavier, and you could hear it was hard to breath, standing up. It was much more calm when she was laying down.

I figured she wasn't gonna get better any time soon, so I decited to take her home to my place. I wrapped my arm around her waist for support, and walked her down to my car. She could barely walk. Her legs was weak, actually her whole body was.

I sat her down in the seat in the car, and fastened her seatbelt. When I started driving, Maggie didn't move she just sat there looking straight forward. It started to worry me. It wasn't long until we arrived. I had to carry her out of the car, and up to my room. I placed her on my desk chair, then bending down in front of her trying to get life in her.

"Hey," I sagde softly, brushing her cheek with my hand. The blankness of her eyes, were now glistening. She looked at me. Looking almost frightened.

"What... What are you doing?" She managed to say, with a raspy and low voice.

She stood up, so she could back off, but as soon as she did, she was just about to fall.

"Fuck." I breathed out, grabbing her by her waist, before she acctually fell. She looked dizzy.

"I don't-" she took a big shaky breath in. "I don't wanna talk to you." Then she started to almost hyperventilate. Her body started to at bit again.

"Shh, calm down." I understood that she didn't want to talk to me, but she kind of had no other fucking choice.

"What am I doing here?" She panicked. I placed my hand on top of hers to calm her down.

"Get off of me!" She cried out. She pushed me back. Suddenly tears were falling down her cheeks.

I stepped back looking at her. I knew it. I knew this was a bad idea. Why do I always give in so easily. I have to stay away from her. She doesn't want me either. Not that I wanted anything to do with her. She's a pain in the ass. At least that's how I see her.

She slided down the wall, hugging herself crying silently. That's how she wanted it to sound, but I heard it.

I crouched down to her. I placed my hand on top of her, and this time she didn't move it. "What's wrong with me?" She looked up.

"Why am I feeling so sick?"

"I don't know." I said softly, brushing her cheek. Tears were falling down. I lifted her up so she was standing up. Her body was cold. I wanted her to change clothes, or sleep, but before I could do anything, she wrapped her arms around me.

This wasn't how it was supposed to be. She should leave. I shouldn't have come. I should stop.

But all the things I should, didn't go with the things I would. I push my thought away. Wrapping my arms around her tightly. She nuzzled her head down in the crook of my neck, as I brushed her hair, tightened my grip around her.

We didn't speak, we just stood there embracing each other.
