Chapter 4 The party

I'm going to a party that my friend invited me to. It's at this abandoned house where people throw parties almost every weekend. I had just finished straightening my hair and now I'm ready to go. "I'll be back later" I call out to Taylor. I open the door and see Jackson standing there. "Oh sorry I was just about to knock" he says. "It's okay" i reply. "I see you were leaving so I will just come back later." I think for a minute and then say "I'm going to a party if you wanna come." "Sure." I meet up with my friends Tabby and Camryn. They already know Jackson so I don't have to introduce him. "I'll go get you a drink" says Camryn. "I'll go with you" says Jackson. "I don't know if it's just because I'm drunk but I think I have psychic powers" says Tabby. "You are totally drunk. No more drinks for you" I say taking the drink from her hand. When she touches me her eyes go wide. "What's wrong?" I ask. "When I touched you I saw something." She says. "What did you see?" Before she can answer Camryn and Jackson come back. "Why don't you show Jackson around?" Camryn says to me. I walk toward the side of the house and Jackson follows. There is a small pond with a bridge over it. I put my elbows on the bridge and we talk. "So what's your story?" Jackson says. "Well my dad walked out on my mom when I was born. And my mom died when I was little. So I just live with my brother. That's my story" I say. "What about you?" I add. "I live with my dad because my mom died last year" he says. "Oh I'm sorry" I say. "Things will get better for you and your brother, Kendall. You just have to believe it" I nod my head.

Camryn POV
"I wonder where they went" I say to Tabby. "Probably making out somewhere" tabby says. "Tabby!" I say laughing. Just then my friend named Cameron from school walks up to us. "Hey I didn't know you guys would be here" he says. "We usually come to the parties here" I say. "I brought some candy, you guys want some?" He says. "Sure" I say opening my hand. "Thanks" tabby says to him as he gives her some. Then tabbys eyes go wide again. Cameron looked at her like he knew why she did that. "I'll see you guys later" he says and walks away. "What's his deal?" I say to Tabby. "When I touched him I saw a full moon and darkness" she says.
