Chapter 7

Camryn POV
  I get ready for my day with Cameron. We are going fishing;I have 2 brothers so I have experience. I put on a yellow guy Harvey shirt and my favorite hollister shorts. I want to look good so I curl my hair and do my makeup really well. Everyone says that my hair looks best when it's curled. I'm eating my lunch by the time he arrives. I throw it in the trash and open the door. He is standing there with a guy Harvey shirt on and some jeans. "Ready to go?" He asks me. "Yeah let me just grab my keys" I say. I walk in my room, grab them, do a quick hair check, and walk out the door. "So where are we going?" I ask him. "You'll see" he replies. I like mysteries. I brought my hot pink fishing pole and put it in the back of his truck. We meet up with some of his other friends. I felt really weird because I was the only girl but I fit right in. I'm sitting on the lake when a really big fish grabs my line. "I got something!" I call out. Everyone looks at me as I try to reel it in. But I'm struggling because it's really heavy. Cameron comes over and asks "do you got it?" "It's a fighter" I say to him. "Here, let me help you". Then I feel a pair of arms wrap around me. His hand rests on top of mine on the reel as he guides my hand. With his help I successfully reel in the fish. It was the biggest one I've seen. "Nice catch" Cameron says looking into my eyes. "Thanks" I say looking back into his. I could get lost in his eyes. They're the color of chocolate. My fantasizing was interrupted by one of his friends calling out. "Guys it's the cops, run!" "Cops?" I say. They all start to run so I just follow them. I hear the sirens so they are getting close. We hide in a bush but then they find us. "Put your hands up" the cop says. We all obey his order. "Why were you kids fishing back there? It's private property" he says to us. "Officer can I have a word with you?" Cameron says. Him and the cop walk a little ways away and chat. "Cameron's got this" one of his friends says. I watch as the cop walks off. "How did you get us out?" I ask. "I have a way with people" he replies. I smile and we walk back to the truck.
