Chapter 26

Kendall POV
It's been a week since I've discovered that werewolves are back. I was able to talk to one of my grandpas friends. He didn't remember much, because he was really old, but he did tell me that there were some ancient spices I could mix together. I had to go to 3 different stores just to find them. It took hours of research, but I finally found out how to make the cure needed for Bri to heal.

I make sure that it's in my bag before I get out of my car. I meet up with my friends, Camryn and Tabby.

"So Tabby, how are things with that Josh kid?" I ask her.

"They're ok. He's in one of my classes so I only get to see him them. But right after class, he meets up with some girl and walks her to class" she says.

"Why don't you invite him to sit with us at lunch?" I ask.

"Okay. I'll do that." She says.

"What about you and Cam?" I say to Camryn.

"We have actually gotten really close. I don't know if he likes me though. Boys are so confusing" she says.

"You got that right" I reply.

"I'll see you guys later" I say, leaving them.

I walk up to Jackson, exited to hand him the cure.

"Hey guess what" I say

"Wait, let me go first" he says.

"Ok"

"Bri is all better. Turns out she just needed some time to heal. So you don't have to worry about doing all that research. What were you gonna tell me?"

"Just that.. We got an A on our project!" I say, trying not to sound as pissed as I am.

I'm walking to the table where my friends and I sit. I put my purse on my lap and take out my lunch.

Tabby was telling us a funny story about her dog when I see josh walking up to us.

"I see you took my idea. Here comes Josh" I say to tabby.

Tabby quickly brushes her hand through her hair. Josh comes and sits next to her.

"So Josh what math class do you have?" I ask, trying to get a conversation going.

"Calculus" he replies.

"Oh I hear that's the hardest math class there is. You're only a sophomore and you're taking it?" Tabby asks.

"Well yea I like a challenge"

"Tabby has calculus too" Camryn blurts out.

I laugh a little because of the look that tabby gives Camryn. I notice how both of my best friends sitting at the table have guys with them. We all do accept for me.
