Vampire crush

Chapter 24

Jackson POV
"Dad? Dad! Dad wake up!"Bri shouts, shaking her dad. But it doesn't because he is still unconscious.

I look up and see other werewolves coming to us.

"Bri, we have to go." I say

"I can't leave him here!" She says.

"If we don't leave now than we won't get another chance"

She looks at her dad, her eyes filled with tears. Then she let goes of his hand and we both run.

We run and run until we reach a dead end. The werewolves are still after us.

"Why do they want us?" Bri asks.

I think about it for a minute. Than it comes to me. They were in his pack. They think that we killed him.

"We didn't kill Tom. David did. Okay? I swear. I'm a vampire, we both are. I don't know anything about werewolves. I didn't even know they existed until 20 minutes ago." I say

They look at each other, and then vanish. What just happened? All I know now is that werewolves exist. But who were those 3? I recognized them but I couldn't remember how.

I look at Bri to make sure that she is some what okay. We tried to go back for her dad but the wolves took him already.

"Bri I'll take you home" I say looking at her.

But when I do look at her she looks the weakest that I've seen her. Her eyes are barely staying open. Her lips are turning purple. Her face growing paler by the second.

"Bri? Bri what happened?" I say.

"Wolf blood" she says lifting up her sleeve.

Then I see it. She got wolf blood on her. Could it be poisonous to vampires? Is it fatal? Her skin is a dark purple and doesn't seem to be healing. Whenever vampires get hurt, they always heal quickly. Why isn't she healing? Could werewolves be greater than vampires? Are they a threat?

"Bri I need you to stay awake. Stay with me ok? Keep your eyes open." I say.

"I'm so tired..." She says, her eyes trying to close.

"I know but I need you to stay awake ok? Stay with me." I pick her up bridal style, looking at her pale face and purple lips.

I bring her to my car and I put her in the front seat so I can make sure that she stays awake. As soon as I get to my house I carry her in my arms, running to my room. I lay her on my bed and take her wrist.

I bite  her wrist, hoping that the pain will revive her. Nothing. Her eyes have now fully closed.

"Bri, please!" I say.

Why isn't she healing? She should be. The wound seems to be getting worse.

I don't know what else to do. I did what humans would do, put ice on it. The swelling did seem to actually go down a bit.

Then all of a sudden there's a knock at my door. Bri doesn't seem like she will be waking up anytime soon but I still want to try, I ignore the door. But the knocks won't stop. Oh my gosh what could be so important?

I don't even bother looking through the window to see who it is. When I open the door I cannot believe my eyes. It's Kendall. She cannot know about Bri. She doesn't even know that vampires exist.

"Are you ready to work on our science project?" She says, holding up a poster board. I totally forgot that we have to do a project about chemical reactions. However I don't want to make her any more upset than I already have.

My look must have given it away because she then says "Don't tell me that you forgot."

"No I didn't forget... Come on in." I say. How am I going to do 2 things at once?What about Bri?

"Can I use your bathroom before we start?" She asks.

"Yea it's right across from my room, first door on the right" I reply, realizing that I left my room door open. But it's already too late. Because then I hear a gasp.

I run to my room, ready to tell her everything. Hoping that she won't tell anyone else. When I walk into the room she is looking at Bri's arm. Then to my surprise she says

"Werewolves, they're back"
