"Oh...hi. I'm Kendall" I tell her.
"I'm Brianna. I've heard so much about you." She says.
"Really? That's strange. I didn't hear anything about you" I say.
"Right... I'm gonna go put in a song request before the night ends" she says, walking away.
I walk away mad and Jackson follows me.
"Kendall wait!" He says chasing after me.
"What do you want Jackson?" I snap
"Look I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about Brianna-"
"So am I"
I try to walk away from him but he catches up.
"But I don't get why we can't be friends?" He says pleadingly
"Because I don't like being friends with people who lie."
" I wouldn't call it that but I'm sorry. Why can't you just forget about it?"
"You played me like a violin. I can't 'just forget about it'"
I walk away and this time it's for good.

It's the last song of the night but I'm not in the mood. Instead I just go wait for my friends by the door. Then a handsome looking man in a shirt and tie approaches me. Tyler. I almost didn't recognize him.
"Not in the mood to dance?" He asks.
"Nope" I say looking angrily at Jackson who's dancing with Brianna.
"Don't let them get you down. Nobody likes her. She's so annoying" he says.
"Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you best friends with Jackson?"
"Not anymore. All he does is talk about Brianna and he only wants to hang out with her."
"So you guys hate each other now?"
"Yup"
A brilliant idea pops into my head.
"Do you wanna dance?"
"Yeah" he says smiling, taking my hand.
We dance in a spot where Jackson is sure to see but we aren't too close. I see Jackson glance over at me so I smile into Tyler's eyes. We continue like this until the song ends. And when it does I see Jackson walking with Brianna towards the exit, where we are near. So when he glanced at me as he walked by, I lean into Tyler for a kiss. I have the feeling that Jackson is looking so I make the kiss more passionate. I come out of it and walk out hand in hand with Tyler.

"Yeah but it was just to make Jackson jealous. I think it worked." I say
"How was it?"
"How was what?"
"The kiss!"
"Oh. He actually isn't a terrible kisser to be honest but I've experienced better" I say smiling.
"Not to be mean but why do you care if Jackson has a girlfriend? You guys were just friends"
"Well... I have to tell you something"
