Chapter 8

Kendall POV
I ride my penny board to the park. I see Jackson is already there. We skate around for a bit and then eat lunch. Then we go skating again. We start racing each other by a hill. I'm barley ahead of him and then he passes me. "Hey!" I call out to him. "Bye slow poke" he says laughing. I catch up to him and stick my tongue out. Then all of a sudden I loose my balance and fall off my skateboard. Luckily I didn't roll down the hill. I'm laying on the road in pain and I look up. I see Jackson realize that I've fallen and he stops. "Oh my gosh Kendall are you okay?" He says running over to me. "Yeah I'm okay" I say. I sit up and realize that my knee is bleeding. "That's not pretty" I say looking at it. He looks at my knee and quickly turns around. "Jackson what's wrong?" I ask. "I can't stand the sight of blood. Sorry" he says "it's okay" I try to stand up but fall back down.
Jackson POV
I see her knee bleeding and my body is screaming at me. It's telling me to rip her heart out. I told her that I can't stand the sight of blood. Is that even a thing? All I know is that my body is begging me to feast on her. My eyes turn back to normal. I can fight this off. I have to.
Kendall POV
He turns back around. "Here let me help you up" he says. He pick me up bridal style and we both look into each other's eyes. Then we begin to laugh. He carries me home and lays me on my couch. "The band aids are in the bathroom cabinet" I tell him. He walks into the bathroom and gives me a band aid. "How are you afraid of blood. It's blood" I say, raising my knee up to his face. He quickly turns around. "It's over, you can look now...baby" I say, laughing at the word baby. The rest of the day we watch Netflix and chill. Later that night I realized that Jackson forgot his skateboard so I bring it back to his house. When I knock the door opens by itself. "Hello? Jackson?" I call out, walking into the house. All of a sudden I see a guy that I've never seen before. "Hello.." I say to him. "You must be Kendall. Jackson has told me so much about you. He went to the store but he'll be back any minute." He says. "Oh. I'm sorry but I don't know who you are. I thought Jackson lived here with just his dad. At least that's what he told me" "well Jacksons not one to brag." Then he gets cut off by Jackson walking into the house. "Hey you left your skateboard at my house" I say to him. "Okay thanks for brining it by" he says looking at his brother. "Okay... I'll see you later I guess" I say to Jackson. "Oh I never got your name" I say to the other guy "My names Gale. I'm Jacksons brother"
