Chapter 36

Kendall pov
He's thrashing around in the chair. His legs and arms are chained up.

"I'll kill all of you! Give me the damn cure!" He shouts.

"Why don't you just give him the cure?" I ask jack.

"Because he doesn't need just the cure. He needs a werewolf, he has to sacrifice one." Jack  says hesitantly.

"You mean he has to kill one?"

He looks at me with sad eyes. "Hmm if only we knew a werewolf oh wait we do, your brother" nick says.

"Touch him and I swear I'll-" nick cuts me off.

"You'll what? Try and stop me? You'll end up dead with him."

Then my phone buzzes. Text message from Taylor.

"On my way home." It says.

"Oh did your brother text you? How sweet. Letting you know that he's on his way home?" Nick says in his creepy voice.

I give him a questioning look. How did he know what my text says.

"Mind control. It's like the only good thing about being a werewolf."

In the blink of an eye nick brakes free from the chains and has his hands around Jacks throat. "Cure now or the vampire dies." He says.

Vampire? What? No vampires don't exist. Only werewolf's and witches, right? Jack would have told me.. I stop thinking and toss him the cure.

He starts drinking the cure and instantly starts gagging.

"Wolfs bane. You'll be dead in minutes. I switched the substances. Now you'll never get the cure because you have no idea where it is. Oh and you'll be dead. Goodnight." Jack says.

And just like that. Nick is dead. And it's just me and jack standing in the room. "Kendall I can explain-" he starts, but I run out of his house, tears streaming down my face. I don't know what to think of this town anymore. It's just so overwhelming. Vampires and werewolves and witches? I can't believe jack didn't tell me he was a vampire. I thought we were closer then that.
Taylor pov
I'm standing at my front door looking for my keys in my pocket. I feel a body standing behind me. I turn around and see an old women. "Um can I help you?" I ask.

"Nick has a message for you." She says. But before I have time to even think I get a massive headache and all of a sudden I can't breathe. It's like something is strangling me but nothing is there. I could feel my insides start to twist and turn. I look up at her face. But right after, I go blind everything is black and all I hear is ringing in my ears. And then it stops. Everything stops.
