A Ninja Heart (Naruto Fanfic,Completed)

Lost cause

"Are you guys okay?" Narumi asked all of them,sitting in the forest near a bunch of trees. 

Madara and Sasuke had escaped through Madara's teleportation jutsu. Although they had quite the fight,Sasuke trying over and over again with susanoo and almost killing them all. Madara fighting Narumi herself along with Naruto. 

However,they escaped when Sasuke had used too much of his sharingan and his jutsu,draining him of chakra. 

"I'm out of chakra." Kiba said,breathing hard. Narumi nodded solemnly. 

"Me,too." said Hinata,whom had done very well. She actually surprised Narumi today,fighting both Madara and Sasuke with incredible strength and power. She was surely something that Narumi wouldn't expect her to be. 

Narumi herself though was a little tired,but not drained of chakra. After the small rest she got with..well,with Kakashi sensei,she got a chance to rebuild some of her chakra. And even Kurama had given her some chakra. She'd have to talk to Kurama later. 

However,all Narumi could think of was how close she'd been to killing Madara.. Although,she probably couldn't have killed him on her own. She'd realized,that only with the help of her friends could she have achieved to put one scratch on Madara. 

"Kakashi," Captain Yamato said,whom had been amazing with his wood style. "We need to go after them. We may have just fought them,but some of us still need to track them." Which was true. They were here,after all,to spy on Sasuke and Madara's plans. What were they even up to? 

Kakahsi nodded. "Yes,I know." He thought a bit of it and talked once again,everyone's attention towards him. 

"I'll be going. I'll take Hinata,Sakura,Naruto and Shikamaru with me." Narumi instantly started boiling up. 

"What?!" Narumi burst out. She walked closer to Captain Yamato and Kakashi sensei. "I am not going back to the village knowing that my brother is in a fight without me!" 

"Narumi," Shikamaru said,looking straight at her with utter wildness in his eyes. She turned towards him and gritted her teeth. 

"No," she said. "I will not stay behind. I'll come with,and you know I will,Kakashi sensei!"Narumi said,looking at Kakashi with hard eyes. There was a reason behind this. He wasn't bringing her along for a reason,a reason that was unknown to Narumi. Was it because of the incident that happened back at the battle? 

Everyone looked at her,and she wasn't going to give up. It looked like Naruto thought the same. 

"I'm sorry Kakashi sensei,you know I usually side with you at times like this,but...," Naruto walked beside Narumi and wrapped a playfull arm around her and brought her down as crushed his knuckles against her head and rubbed. "Narumi is my sister,and she's the strongest one! We shouldn't loose the opportunity." 

"You're not much of a help,Sakura.." Kakashi sensei mumbled to Sakura whom went to stand beside Narumi as well. Hinata,Shino,Sai and Shikamaru stood next to Narumi as well,siding with them. For all they knew,this could be the start of a war. Or just the end of it. And they would need all the strenght possible. 

"Narumi is th strongest one,she may bw wreckless,but we're going at risk without her." Shikamaru said,just as Narumi turned to see him. He smiled at her in triumphmand she smiled back. With a smile of victory Narumi stepped closer to Kakashi and Captain Yamato. 

"The majority has made choice,captain." she said to Kakashi. "Whether you like it or not,I'll be coming along."  There was a look of tension between them,a challenge. Something that told Narumi she was doing something crazy to him,leaving him with no suspicious choice or words to say.
