A Ninja Heart (Naruto Fanfic,Completed)

Hinata's Hit

Izuka had never told Narumi that he wanted to get revenge on Madara,and perhaps she couldn't blame him since she,too,wanted to act loyal to Madara. Show him that she was on their side,and that she wanted to get revenge on the village that put her in misery because of Kurama. 

"But what about you,Sumo?" Narumi asked. "Why do you want to kill Madara?" Sumo smirked a little,his arms crossed over his chest. 

"Everyone in the Red Assassins despise Madara. Everyone except Kemi. And she's dangerous and strong,she may not seem like it ever since the fight with you,but you took her by surprise with your tailed beast..I can assure you that won't happen again." Sumo said,and to Narumi that was enough. 

She did not need to know Sumo's reasons for wanting to kill Madara,as long as she could trust him. And she did trust Izuka,therefor if he trusted Sumo,so would she. 

"Why didn't you help me at the dungeons,Izuka?" Narumi asked him,standing as the wind burried itself in her hair,sweeping her face. 

Izuka,whose blue eyes were shining and dark hair was sweeping in the wind like the night itself,looked over at her with eyes beyond blue. It was like the stars themselves were in his eyes. 

"I didn't help you cause I was testing the skills of leaf's best shinobi. I knew you were resisting the pain as well,I knew you were waiting for the right moment. No one is foolish enough to take on Madara,especially not two on one. If Madara was alone,then sure.." 

"Are you calling me a fool?" Narumi blankly stared at Izuka wiht a deadly look,and he nervously laughed,backing off and shaking his head. 

"No,ha,of course not!" he nervously laughed as Sumo smiled nervously as well. 

The next day Narumi woke up and went to train with Sasuke as usual. Her mind was clearer,and her hopes were better.. Sumo and Izuka were on their side. She could need that strength to lure Madara in the end. If he truly thought that they were on his side when the war began officially,she'd have to ask Sumo and Izuka for help to lure him somehow. 

"You're thinking oddly much." Narumi stopped,confused as a voice behind her called out. Looking behind her,she saw Sasuke's handsome face staring at her. Despite how handsome she was...Did she just pass him? 

"Huh?" Narumi said to her own confusion. 

"You ran past me like I wasn't even there. You didn't even sense me." Sasuke said,coming closer to her. And it was true..She hadn't sensed his chakra at all. 

"Sorry.." she said with a slight smile. Despite Narumi seeing heartless,she could be sweet at some times and not just fully badass. She could be a total airhead as well,despite how smart she was in combat. 

Before Narumi could even say something else,Sasuke had taken her arm and shoved her in the bushes close ahead. Narumi was about to yell at him,but he had jumped on top of her,keeping her pinned to the ground as his hand covered her mouth. Her heart was beating oddly fast,and she hadn't been able to concentrate on anything but Sasuke's presence. 

He was so close to her it felt unreal.. 

Narumi suddenl heard steps,allot of them,coming from where Sasuke and she stood. And slowly,Sasuke looked back at her,his fingers on his lips,hushing her as he let go of her slowly. She nodded,blushing at the same time as he let her go. She hoped he didn't notice. 

When Narumi got up all she could see was a flock of people. No..Not people..Shinobi. From what Narumi saw it were the ninja's of the five nations. All of them,from all the villages..Together. 

Narumi stared,speechless,with wide eyes and a heart punding harder than her blood was flowing. 

So it was really happening..The war. 

"It's happening.." Narumi whispered. "It's really happening.." Narumi whispered. 

And just like that,Narumi had felt the presence of someone shooting at them,and without thinking,without even reacting to the ninja's in front of them,she got up from the bushes and stopped the arrow from coming at Sasuke whom obviously wasn't paying any attention. 

And suddenly ever shinobi was looking at her,staring at the recognizable Narumi Uzumaki. 

"It's..It's Narumi of the Leaf! And Sasuke Uchiha!" Narumi,with the arrow in her hand,blankly looked at those shinobi that she had seen and known before,and at all the new faces whom knew her.. But there was no time. 

"Attack! Get them back alive!" And suddenly they were all attacking. 

"Sasuke!" Narumi shouted. "Sasuke,run!" Narumi and Sasuke were running in no time,even if Sasuke had doubted and almost stayed to fight,Narumi had tugged onto him until he followed close by and as they ran all they could,shinobi,tons of them,were following by. 

They needed to run somewhere unseen.. 

"Narumi! We have to get rid of them!" Sasuke shouted. Narumi shook her head as they ran. 

"I refuse to kill them,Sasuke! Keep on running!" she called out to him. Which they did,for minutes,but therer were some skileld shinobi in this group and they weren't gonna give up that easily.. 

"I have to get rid of them! If you can't,then I will." Sasuke said,looking hard at her with his sharingan eyes. 

"Sasuke,no!" But it was already too late. Narumi took out her swords and fought them off,blocking them instead of actually killing them or hurting them..  She kicked them,deciding to hurt them until they passed out,so she used her physical strength in taijutsu with her byakugan and sharingan to see their moves. 

"Fight like you are rumored to,you coward!" A man said when Narumi stood by the trees,holding her swords close to her sides,no blood on her. 

"I refuse to kill any of you."

"You might as well do it since you changed sides,you peasant!" A man spit out at her,which hurt,but she kept it inside. This was no time for emotions. 

Narumi quickly ran in front of him,kicking him away,hurting yet a few people with basic taijutsu... 

Until she got hit by the one person she definitely had not expected to be hurt by. 

Narumi was about to hit the ground,but gracefully landed on her two feet and one hand on the ground,seeing a small cut on her chin as well. 

And in front of her..
