A Ninja Heart (Naruto Fanfic,Completed)

Feudal Lord of power

"The war is over," Lady Tsunade said to te Feudal Lords as the other Kages nodded. "And the Uzumaki twins stopped it together. In fact,we all did. But without the twins,we'd be lost." Narumi was still bowing in front of the Feudal Lords,however,he knee hurt. 

Allot. 

"Narumi Uzumaki was seen as a betrayer to the people."

"She was not an imposter,it was planned from the beginning!" Lady Tsunade raised her voice,but still in a respectful way. Narumi didn't say a word,she was hurt from just being in that form which had nearly killed her in the end. Once she was done,she had noticed she had several cuts from Madara's hits. But it was all over now..

"I see no reason to punish her,my lord." The Raikage was straight and proud,although Narumi couldn't pay attention to him. 

Kakashi was right next to her,bowing as well,but when she looked over at him,she noticed he had looked over at her,too. She smiled,and it was good to see him smile back. 

"We're happy to say  she has saved us,including you. No one could do what she did."

After the gathering was over with the feudal lords,all Narumi could think about was all the lifes that had been taken away.. The life's she took as well.

Sasuke was back though,and her friends were alright. Even Kemi and Shizuka,whom had no idea about Madara's plan,were now on their side. Narumi felt sorry for killing the Juuzo twins though..But she had no choice. They were going to kill Neji. 

"Narumi." She stopped and listened to the voice that had so familiarly said her name a thousand times before. For some reason,she also wished he never had.. 

Narumi turned around and saw Kakashi looking at her just six feet away from her. She almost didn't dare to look him in the eyes,but did it anyway.  He looked fine if you just saw the outside of him. But Narumi could see through him. 

He was hurt,not just physically but mentally as well. 

"Hello." Narumi said,feeling her heart wrench and twist at the sight of him. Last time she really talked to him was when she left him standing in the forests of the village. Narumi forced a smile on her lips and saw him sadly smile back at her. 

"I see they were talking about making you a feudal Lord with powers." They were? 

"What?" 

"Well you were the only one able to break through the genjutsu,as for Naruto,me and Sasuke whom protected ourselves from it. You even managed to stop it. They think that if you're a feudal lord,you'll be able to stop more problems for the nation." Narumi nodded. 

Putting her as a feudal Lord wasn't anything she really wanted,so if it came at that,she'd say no gratefully. All she wanted to do was to serve the people and herself. She wanted her own pride. Kakashi knew that as well,he didn't have to tell her,but she more likely saw it in his eyes. 

"I pity the people with these weak feudal Lords." Kakashi said to her,making her smile a little. She walked towards him,very slowly,feeling her legs shake as she did. He stood there,watching her carefully as Narumi took the slowest,most dreadful steps ever.

It was like her body was about to shut down in his presence,like her eyes were going to give into tears. 

But closer and closer she came..and once she was close enough,she looked down at the ground,feeling her eyes burn,but knew that his hand was reaching for her. 

Narumi,not wanting him to hesitate,jumped right into his arms and wrapped her hands around his neck,feeling her heart pound and cry and shout and scream,shiver,twirl and twist. She felt how she had given into the tears,how she had chosen to let it all go.

"I was so scared," Narumi said to him. "I thought I was going to die several times..And I thought my friends were going to die! I was so angry and almost let Naruto get killed!" Kakashi was shocked,Narumi could tell,but she wasn't appealed to that.. 

"I'm sorry!" she said as the tears rolled down from her eyes,feeling how the tears were forced out against her will. She couldn't stop them! "I didn't mean to hurt you! I only tried to protect you,and Naruto and everyone else! It was never my intention to let the war go off for so long!" she cried in his arms,not expecting him to react. 

"I'm so sorry,Kakashi!" Narumi swore that she felt something falling from above on her head,and had no doubt it was tears. But not her tears. 

She felt how he clutched his jaw tensely and how stiff he was. 

"You idiot.." he whispered to her. "You almost killed yourself. Three times already! And all you can worry about,is other lifes?" Kakashi raised her chin and cupped her face,and indeed he had tears in his eyes. Tears that she knew she wouldn't see ever again.

"You don't understand.." Narumi said. "You don't understand what I've done to keep myself alive. How could I possibly care?" He looked her in the eyes desperately and wiped away her tears,shaking his head.

"Had you been dead..all of your friends would of killed for your sake." Kakashi said,cupping her face so lightly and softly it gave her shivers. He looked down at her neck and saw the necklace he gave her. Narumi noticed he was looking at it with shock. 

"You still wore it?" She smiled.

"Of course I did." she said,feeling the soft surface of the necklace . "I always kept it..Somehow,it gave me strength at the end of the war,like real strength and power.."

"It reacts to its owner." Kakashi said. "The necklaces have to take a liking into your senses and personality..Naruto's did it right away,he just never used it much. But your necklace reacts whenever it wants to. You can't control like Naruto can." 

Narumi suddenly let go of Kakashi,remembering that she still had a few things to do.. 

"I need to go." she said to him. "I'll see you in the village." She started running off,leaving Kakashi without a word to say to her,and used her flying raijin to get to Izuka and Sumo.
