A Ninja Heart (Naruto Fanfic,Completed)

Narumi of the Akatsuki

Narumi ran through the  deserted woods,not hearing a single sound,but she knew she was close. Either it was Obito,or Madara,who'd went to fight off Naruto. Which made Narumi think.

If Naruto was here..Then so was Sakura and Sai. And Shikamaru.. Shikamaru must've figured out at this point that this was a death mission,and that this would be a start to the war. Exactly as planned,this is exactly what Narumi wanted. Except,Naruto shouldn't be here. 

And neither should Kakashi sensei. 

Narumi stopped,trying to at least hear anything..But if she really possessed the byakugan,then she should be able to use it as well. She'd have to try at least..She knew the signs,now she just had to know how to actually use the byakugan. 

With the hand signs ready to go,Narumi looked in different ways and finally said it. 

"Byakugan!" Suddenly her left eye started to see in white and black,from a very far distance as well,and her vision became clearer somehow,became more of use..It worked. It had worked! She never thought she could really do it,nor that she'd possess the byakugan,but she actually managed to do it! 

Okay..Now she has to look for Naruto,and Madara perhaps. 

"Bingo." Narumi said as she spotted Madara fighting off Sakura and the others. 

Quickly as ever,Narumi ran in her fastest speed,which was faster than ever anyone could know. 

Naruto's POV;

"Damn it!" Naruto cursed and looked at his friends fighting off an incredibly powerful guy. He was different somehow..Different from the Madara that Narumi almost used her full power on. His chakra was different as well. 

"This must be the real Madara!" Shikamaru shouted as Naruto,that just got up from the ground as he entered sage mode,running towards Madara. He had to give it all in.. He wouldn't fail. 

Naruto was the first one to get close to Madara,and was just about to throw a punch,but Madara blocked him way too easily.. However,Naruto wouldn't give in. He threw a kick on his left side,and moved quicker and quicker by the second,barely giving Madara any time to react when Kakashi sensei came with his chidori at Madara.

But suddenly,in front of Kakashi sensei,came a hand,hard as steel,even though Madara easily could block Kakashi's chidori.. 

The first thing Naruto saw at this person was the byakugan,and since his sharingan was activated,he could also the chakra on the person..Which,well was samiliar to..

"Narumi." he breathed out,seeing the dirty blonde hair that was unusally messy. Her face,dirty and a little muddy with big bags under her eyes. She looked like a..like a zombie. Obviosuly,Naruto meant no offense,but she did look halv dead,and scary. So scary Naruto had to hold his breath. Worse of all..She wore an Akatsuki cape. 

All he could see in Narumi's eyes,that now turned into her normal blue eyes,was anger and pain. She somehow looked different in so many ways,and it ached in Naruto's heart to see his sister like that.. 

With one punch she punched away Kakashi into Naruto and they both went backwards on the ground,falling into the grass as Sakura caught them from behind. 

Narumi stood in front of Madara,whom seemed to look down at her,and if it weren't for the mask,Naruto could've sworn that the look on Madara's face would be pleased. 

"Lay a finger on him," Narumi said huskily. "And I'll kill you all." Naruto,speechless,slowly stood up and stared at his sister in disbelief. 

This couldn't be her path,could it? Siding with Madara? Protecting him?
