Memories

The rain poured over Sasuke,the thunder had struck the ground a few times,yet he didn't mind any of it..

He had his sword in his hand and his look steady and ready on Narumi. Naruto and the others were in the village,telling everyone to get ready if Narumi were to come to the village,only to harm their daughter.. 

If only she could remember... 

"Give up!" Narumi roared from where she was standing. 

"Why do you refuse to remember?" Sasuke shot out to her,raising his blade. Despite forgetting what she's capable of,she was doing a great job at blocking and defending. However,Sasuke had to go easy on her. 

He didn't want to kill her. 

"With each second that goes by,the monster inside me is waking up...And I'm suddenly more aware of my capabilities."

"Then stop." Sasuke said softly. "Stop trying to kill the one thing that you protected the most."

"I can't." Narumi whispered,her hands shaking. "I want to stop.. I don't want to hurt something of my own blood,but it's like something's pushing me to it." Sasuke knew directly it was the consequences of dying and coming back to life. 

Either Narumi was going to be insane and blood thirsty,or just blood thirsty. Either way,none of it was good. Cause death was slowly taking over her,and so far,Sasuke could not do anything about it.. 

"I have to kill you!" Narumi sprinted towards Sasuke with her two swords on her sides,fast as ever. But Sasuke couldn't miss it,and blocked her right away,their swords touching and making an awful noise as the thunder awoke. 

With swords crossed and faces facing each other,Sasuke looked into her eyes,now dark and lifeless.

"Wake up,Narumi." 

"Stop!" she shouted,almost falling backwards. She seemed upset.. But only because her memories were slowly coming back. That must be it,right? 

"Remember when we were kids?!" Sasuke shouted through the drops of rain. "You and I were outcasts... We had no one! Your father and mother died a hero,my clan died in agony! Master Jiraiya,he taught you the rasengan!"

"STOP IT!" Narumi held her head and fell down to the ground,her eyes big as they darted everywhere. 

"Do you recall why your father,the Fourth Hokage,put the Nine tailed Fox into you and Naruto? Do you recall why you're an Uzumaki? Do you recall why Master Jiraiya died!"

For a minute it looked like she was having a hard time breathing,a hard time thinking! Her head was facing the ground,her hair covering her face,and she just stood there for a few seconds,still as ever...

Looking up she started laughing,a laugh that crawled up Sasuke's spine. 

He was confused.. He was heart broken,but he kept his cool,he kept his eyes cold as ice. 

"You honestly think that whatever you might say affects me?" she laughed. "You mean nothing to me! Maybe I did love you before,but I can't love you now.. I don't love you now,Sasuke Uchiha! I don't care about you or anyone else! I want to care,I want to remember! But being bad feels so good! I don't want to hurt you,but I can't stop myself!"

That's the moment Sasuke realized.. 

There was no real way out for Narumi. 

Naruto's POV;

"We'll do anything to protect her,get it?!" Naruto said to his friends. Hinata looked at him with a smile. Naruto wondered what she was thinking.
