Madara looked down at Narumi with eyes that could not determine if he was pleased or angered with her. Whatever it was,she had at least convinced him now. She convinced him that she had changed, that she was truly on their side now.
"You let him escape." Madara said as Narumi, standing in front of him with her swords on her sides, lokoed down at the ground, satisfied.
"He's become allot more skilled." And it was true. Water style hadn't really been Naruto's thing..And he still managed to use raging eaves perfectly. Naruto would truly surpass her one day.. Unlike her,Naruto's source of strength was his love for family and friends, while Narumi's was a combination of hatred and love and duty. It was, after all,her duty to become stronger and stronger.
"How did you get out your comfortable room?" Madara suddenly asked, his mask still hiding his face which she had already seen. Nonetheless, she'd like to rip off the mask and kill him right there.. But if it's anything she learned those four days in that room,it is that she had to be patient, like a snake, and then attack her prey.
"You underestimated me," Narumi declared. "Izuka is strong,I'll admit, but I'm stronger." She left out the detail that Izuka even held back.
"You're an Uzumaki and a Namikaze..You have insane chakra. You're quite tenecious. I wouldn't expect anything less from you."
"Does that mean you'll train me?" It felt like a betrayal to Master Jiraiya.. He trained her to be this strong, and the toads at mount myoboku. But most of all Master Jiraiya.. Pervy sage had trained her to become this strong, and being trained by the enemy felt like she had ripped her own heart out. However, this couldn't depend on personal feelings. She had to think about the rest of the world, and let herself get trained by a man stronger than herself.
"I promised I'd train you,but I don't fully trust you,Narumi Uzumaki." Madara said, his hands on his hips. Narumi's hair flew with the wind as she looked up at Madara, her left eye activating its byakugan as the other activated the sharingan.
"I almost killed my twin brother," Narumi said in a low voice. "I almost killed the man that I love and above all,I hurt my friends."
"In order to get my trust? That just makes it more obvious!" He chuckled just as Narumi put her swords back on her back and walked towards Madara.
"It was an act of loyalty, but you wouldn't know anything about it,would you?" Narumi provoked, standing right beside her shoulder, pushing herself forward. A declaration that she is about to leave, for the better or worse. But Madara turned around, hesitation running all over his bastard face as he stopped her.
"Fine." he said. "I'll train you when I have the time, but for now..Why don't you train with the Uchiha boy?" Uchiha boy? Madara looked so sardonic she might have slapped him, however, she didn't. Cause suddenly she understood that 'Uchiha boy' was actually Sasuke Uchiha. And no matter whose side Sasuke was on,it didn't change the fact that he was looking for her and that he cared for her.
She had to let him know that she was alright.
"Very well." Narumi nodded her head twice. "I'll do it."
Sasuke's POV;
It has been two days since Narumi found him and got told that he was going to train with her,but it was a short talk, and they wouldn't start training until today. He wanted to tell her allot of things, but Obito had already informed him of what had happened. And whatever that story was..It didn't sound anything like Narumi.
But now here she was,in her normal gear clothes. Skirt with cuts on the sides, leggins above her knees and somewhat a new top. She must've stolen it on her mission from Madara last night.
"Not even a hello?" Narumi said sardonicly, smirking as her blonde, silky straight hair fell down on her shoulders. His first look on her that first day when he saw her was her wrists. They had been burnt, and it had made Sasuke angry deep inside.
"We're training, not chatting." Sasuke said calmly, turning around and looking at the green trees making slight sounds. The field was empty, and had allot of space,so it'd be perfect for them to train.
"You're still as dense.." Narumi said in a low voice, although she sounded amused. Why did she sound amused? And what was he so dense about?
"What do you mean?" Sasuke asked, piercing his sword to the grass, observing the field. He hoped nothing would burn up,even so,they could use a water jutsu. So it wasn't such a big problem right?
"Don't act like you weren't looking for me while I was gone." Sasuke was just about to observe yet another part of the field, but his mind refused to think any further of it.
Yea..Okay,he had been looking for her. Some of it was out of concern, and the other part of him (the bigger part of him) was worried sick about her. If something happened to her..He would go out of his mind and kill every standing person in front of him. And he'd kill Madara especially.
"It's not any different from you whom was looking after me for two years." He knew he may be a little harsh,but..He had to get over her. If he didn't,he might go away from his plans about burning up his old village and her present village.
"I admit looking after you." Narumi said, her voice going soft all of a sudden, just like the old Narumi. "Of course, part of it was cause I wanted to find Madara..But I also wanted to find you,and get you back to Sakura." Suddenly, without thinking,Sasuke turned around and fiercely looked Narumi in the eyes.
"Did you cry after I was gone or was it just Sakura?" Sasuke saw that it had amazed her, stunned her more likely. The question came so suddenly..He knew that, too.
"Sasuke.."
"I just want to know,Narumi," he said coldly. "I want to know if Sakura was the only one who cried after I left. I know you were watching from the trees when I left Sakura in tears."
"No." she suddenly said, which was somehow disappointing..Did he want her to cry? "At least not that day." He looked at her again, stunned, seeing her face covered by her blonde hair as she looked down at the ground.
"That day,I spent my night up in that tree, hoping you'd come back. I realized I had lost my best friend..and that if I went after you, you'd leave like you left Sakura. So I waited, and the next day I found myself crying at the Academy beside your old seat.."
Sasuke simply looked calmly at her,not saying a single word. Just looking at her calmly as she looked up at him,her eyes dark. She had a tendency of getting a darker shade of blue when she was filled with pain or anger or when she was suffering. Sasuke wondered if she was feeling any of it.
"I decided to get stronger,so I could find you. But when I heard you sided with the Akatsuki as well after killing Orochimaru.."
"You wanted to kill me too?"
"No." she said, and suddenly everything was going in slow motion. Her hand raised as she grimaced and punched Sasuke's chin, her fist connecting hard with his skin. Slightly making him fall back. He'd brought back emotions that shouldn't have been brought up.
"I wanted to do that!"she almost shouted at him,her eyes sparkling with passion and anger as she looked at him while he,wide eyed, looked back. "You left without actually saying why! You left me and Naruto and you knew everyone dispised us! But above all,you left the village that actually took a liking into you and left a few girls in tears cause you were gone! I swore to Naruto when he promised Sakura, that I was the one to bring you back!"
He'd been looking down at the ground,so he simply thought that Narumi would be a little softer, like every other girl. Right after getting punched he gets comforted..But he should've known better when Narumi picked up his sword from the grass and threw it at him.
She wasn't just any kind of girl. No..Narumi was worth fighting for. She was worth it all.
She was even worth his very own life.
