A Ninja Heart (Naruto Fanfic,Completed)

The heart

Narumi looked around in the dark,but saw nothing. The enemies were simply taking a short break,but their plan was to hit when the time came,or when they got discovered. They mustn't fail..They're doing this for the leaf,thus that this is not an important mission.. 

"This is getting boring.." Naruto muttered,and Narumi agreed,but this mission could save allot of people.. After all,it was a surprise attack on the Sand village,and the people whom were doing it were dressed in Leaf clothes. Narumi knew little about them,but it was clear they wanted to start a conflict. 

"Stop whining..We'll get there." Narumi said,observing the enemies from the bush. 

"Kakashi sensei,when can we attack?" Naruto whined. 

"When the times comes." 

"But it's never coming!" 

"Shut your stupid mouth!" Sakura whisper-yelled and shot a punch at Naruto,making Sai chuckle a bit. Narumi was grateful to have friends like this..She didn't know what she'd do without them. 

Finally,one hour later,the enemy was on the move again,putting out the fire they had made and woke up their team mates. Looks like they,too,had to wake up one certain team mate.. Naruto had fallen asleep in the bushes,drooling all over his chin,and Narumi restrained herself from slapping him. 

Sai woke Naruto up with a shake,and he instantly woke up,suddenly ready for a fight. "I'm ready!" He said,putting his hands in a ridiculous position. 

"If we could just take a closer look.." Narumi said slowly,trying to get a better look at their foe's. 

"We mustn't blow our cover." Kakashi sensei said as all of them ran through the woods,quietly so they wouldn't be noticed. Looks like their enemies were foolish as well. Kakashi was still the best on the team,even if Narumi was powerful enough to come close to the Sage of the Six Path's. However,if she even went to that level,she'd die instantly and drain all of her chakra.. That was certain. 

"Stop." Sakura said,stopping all of them from running,Sai sending some of his mouses to watch the situation.

"Why are they stopping?" Naruto asked,looking over at his sister. She,too,wished she knew..But she didn't. Why would they stop now? Right here? Narumi watched closely,trying to figure out their body language and their face expressions. 

"They're waiting for someone." Kakashi sensei said at Narumi's side. She looked over at him,and had to restrain herself from smiling at his brilliance. In force,Narumi turned to face the enemies,just to see that they were making a mud wall. She instantly,somehow,reacted to it and almost jumped. 

Kakashi had,too,reacted..But not because he got scared,only because he wanted to reassure everything was okay by putting his hand on hers in a safe gesture. She knew nobody was watching,so she simply smiled. 

Her heart was actually beating faster by Kakashi just being close to her.. She hasn't kissed him,hadn't even seen his face,but it was okay for now..She didn't need to see his face..Although it made her deadly curious all the time! 

"Don't panic,guys," Kakashi sensei said,squeezing Narumi's hand lightly. "You won't get hurt." he said,looking straight at Narumi when nobdoy saw. He meant it..He was looking at her saying these words. Directing it to her.. 

She was almost breathless if it wasn't for her brother touching her shoulder. 

"You're the most powerful shinobi I know," Naruto said,smiling. "You fought Madara..These guys are nothing!" But he was wrong. 

It wasn't the fact that they were powerful or anything,but she got really bad vibes from seeing them..As if she knew them,somehow,by just looking into their eyes and seeing their previous meetings.
