Narumi awoke to the sound of fire cracking from a distance. To low whispers that were barely heard..To a body that was no longer recognizable. To a mind that was no longer calm and settled.. She couldn't help but wonder..
Narumi sat straight up directly and looked around as if someone had just stabbed her and resurrected her.
"Where am I?" she asked,feeling a slight headache erupting from her heda as she slowly leaned on her elbows to get back her strength. Was this another trap? If it was..Well,she had no idea how she'd get away.
"Don't worry,jinchuriki." Narumi trembled. A new voice.. Another voice.
So dark,so filled with power..The coldness of his voice ran like cold water down her spine,giving her the goosebumps. Her blood turned cold like ice,her heart almost stopped. She knew..It must be.. It has to be.
Something inside of Narumi broke free,as if there was so much more power inside of her. Suddenly,she was trying to get up from whatever it was she was laying on in the darkened room,over to a blurry man with black long hair.
She fought to release herself,but wasn't quite thinking straight. Suddenly,she noticed her hands and legs were burning the more she fought.
She was being chained.
"Bastard.." Narumi spit out,her sight still blurry as she looked at the real Madara Uchiha.
Naruto's POV;
Naruto had heard everything. No one would've thought of it,but he'd heard Narumi's conversation with Shikamaru in the village.. And knew that she wasn't really leaving to fight off Obito nor Madara,but was actually joining them and betraying them and risking her life as she did it. In a way,she was fighting them off,but in the way that could get her killed.
That night,Naruto spent his time searching for his sister. He thought about it for real,and noticed that he couldn't let his sister go off that easily.. It was impossible.
However,he'd heard the conversation she had with Kakashi as the cliff in the forest,and couldn't seem to move nor talk,but could only glare blankly in front of him.
Now,Naruto was walking beside Sai and Sakura in the village,his look absolutely sad and depressed. It was as if he wasn't alive anymore. First Sasuke, then Pervy Sage..and now Narumi. He'd lost them all.
No one in team 7 was talking,no one was even looking at each other,but each of them were in depressed thoughts as they sat down to eat sweet dumplings. They didn't know why,since none of them were really going to eat. But they guessed they did it for the sake of their friends.
"I can't believe she left off with the Akatsuki.." Ino said as she ate one of her sweet dumplings. "I knew she was too good to be true." Too good to be true? No.. Naruto thought. I can't break out here.. Not now.
"I know," Choji said,looking at Ino in agreement. "She was powerful,beautiful and totally outmatched even the Hokage. I'm not surprised she joined Madara in the Akatsuki." Calm down..Naruto thought as his heart started beating faster and faster.
"She deserves what she gets when the war erupts." Kiba hadn't noticed that what he'd just said angered Naruto more than ever,and he got up smashing the table with his fists,his teeth gritted as he bitterly looked down at the ground.
"Stop talking." Naruto grimly said. "You don't.." But he shouldn't.. He can't. If he did,someone might overhear-anyone! He can't risk it. After all,it is Narumi's life.
Instead,Naruto ran off. He pushed over everything and pushed away everyone,and started running off. He ran and ran,and even though running all the way to the Academy shouldn't make him breathless,it did.. It did make him breathless,cause his heart was aching. And it was filled with pain. His heart was filled with pain just as much as his eyes were filled with tears.
He didn't notice when Sakura was behind him,shouting his name."Naruto!"
Sakura was beside him,and behind her was Sai. He didn't know what to say,what to do or how to do anything. He could not think.
He loved Narumi. He could not live without his sister,she was everything he had. His only family.
"Naruto.." Sakura said,her hand touching his shoulder slightly,but he ripped away and was just about to march away. As he turned around to fiercely run away,he bumped into someone.
The scent of sweet vanilla and lillies hit him,and the presence somehow made him calm. So calm. Soon enough the tears in his eyes came alive and he painfully tried to keep the tears back.
Without even knowing it,Naruto hugged this presence that made him feel so calm and loved. The presence he usually just passed by without even noticing. The one and only true powerful Hinata. The kindest and most beautiful woman he'd ever seen.. So powerful,yet so kind.
Everyone watched them with wide eyes as Naruto cried while hugging Hinata,and slowly,shockingly,Hinata embraced him back,laying one hand on his head as the other was on his neck.
He felt safe now.
Narumi's POV;
The chains were burning the more she moved,so she decided to stop before her whole body was on fire.
Not to mention,she was weak as it was.
"So this is the true form of Madara Uchiha.." Narumi whispered out weakly and smirked like a devil. The blood thirst inside of her was getting stronger and stronger.. The need to kill this man was bigger than her whole heart will.
"Now I would rather have you sitting on a chair,but then of course you'd slit my throat off."
"No need to be so obvious of it," Narumi said weakly,her eyes locking as she said it. "Now...Will you tell me what the hell you've done to me? I know I can go without food for days and still keep my strength up."
"I've given you something that will block your chakra for a while. A special drug,dear." A drug? A shinobi like him needed a drug to keep her away from going bonkers?
Narumi smirked a bit. "I'm feared by the devil himself."
