A Ninja Heart (Naruto Fanfic,Completed)

Two Byakugans

Naruto's POV;

"You might as well just try to get her back." Hinata said as they were walking the path of an abandoned shinobi village. The village was quite dusty,but they'd found some shinobi weapons,and it had fresh water. For all Naruto knew,this village could be rebuilt. 

"She won't listen." Naruto said weakly,quietly,his voice on the verge of sadness. "Whatever I do she just..keeps thinking of that day." 

"What day?" Hinata asked,looking curiously at Naruto. Naruto didn't know if he was in charge to tell anyone about that day.. They had been on a mission,a dangerous one,and many things had happened. Mostly with Narumi. 

But somehow,he felt like he could trust Hinata. After all..That genjutsu he'd been in had changed his ways of thinking. He now knew,that somehow,he always had liked Hinata. Now..

 He sighed,not even thinking about what he was saying. "We were on a mission." he said. "We were ordered to kill a very powerful man at the moment,and we knew that Narumi herself couldn't take this mission on since her powers had to stay low after the wounds she'd gotten. So we all went together,as a team.. Along with Shikamaru,Kakashi sensei,Kemi and Shizuka.. We already knew,that Kemi had developed something for Kakashi."

"I think everyone knows Kemi is to be his future wife." Hinata said,smiling weakly,knowing that Narumi and Kakashi had a longer story. 

"I guess so..But on that day,when Kakashi decided to break it all to Narumi,was also the day when we were attacking our target. Of course,he didn't tell her..No,more likely,she'd seen Kemi and Kakashi kissing that day. And somehow,Kurama's chakra inside of her turned dangerous  despite her and Kurama being really good friends.. It wasn't just Kurama's chakra,but it was Narumi herself. Her eyes had turned black.. Her teeth had formed into fangs and she had claws and even a spiky body.. She exploded with chakra,with anger.." Naruto thought of it an

d shivered. "She killed the target herself,but also attacked the rest of us. She almost ripped out Kemi's eyes,she broke Sakura's hand and had savagely beaten Kakashi while she took the form of  Kurama."

"But how..?" Hinata asked,her eyes wide. 

"We don't know.." Naruto asked. "Narumi basically exploded with power that day. She'd hurt everyone.. Everyone but me and Sasuke." Hinata smiled,and somehow,her smile made him smile,too. 

"She loves you,you're her only family." Hinata said,her eyes truly showing off her wise character. Naruto had always seen her as this fragile girl,but also very strong,determined and powerful. He knew that Hinata was way more powerful than anyone said she was. She was just too kind.

"I know I just..don't understand why she left." 

"That's an irrelevant thought,Naruto.." Hinata said as she stopped by a fountain. "She's trying to protect you by walking away into another path of protecting people."

"She's an assassin.." he said. 

"An assassin that kills people for the good of others. You have killed men,too,Naruto.." she said softly. 

Narumi's POV;

"There's nothing here." Narumi said to the others,walking around in her cape. Shikamaru and Sai nodded. "However,I did find something weird." Sai and Shikamaru asked her to show them,and the other came along as she lead them. 

It was a wall,with runes,covered in branches and grass. Narumi just had a feeling this would mean something. 

"What is this?" Sakura asked. 

"I don't know-"

"It's an open gate." Izuka interrupted Shikamaru. "It was used for the Hyuga family...So just like I thought,this was a village for the Hyuga clan,mostly."

"And what does it take to open it?" Sasuke asked just as Narumi studied the wall. 

"Some say the chakra of a Hyuga can open any walls within their clans.." Izuka said. But just then Narumi found a certain rope and looked to where it lead. She pulled it,and immediately the wall started opening. But it took allot of strength. 

"But I know that is a lie," Izuka said. "These walls are often put with all sorts of legends to keep us away from them." Izuka nodded at Narumi. 

"Let's go," she said,walking inside the wall. It was dark before her,and she could barely see anything. Narumi activated her byakugan and saw through. All she saw was...

"A man." Narumi said,putting a protective hand on Izuka. She noticed Naruto's look when she did that,and straightened a bit. "Come forward.." Narumi said,and the man did..In fact,his goal had been their way all along. 

"Byakugan Princess!" he said,just as Narumi frowned,looking at the man as if he were crazy. Narumi saw him clearly,so did the others,but he was not looking at her,and he was not looking at Izuka,and certainly not at Sakura or Naruto. 

He was looking at Hinata. 

"Byakugan Princess!" said the man,his eyes black,his clothes ragged and dirty. "The time has come! You must defeat the tenseigan!" What? Narumi narrowed her eyes,not sure if she should end him right there on the spot. But he looked harmless. 

Suddenly he opened his mouth,a ball of lightning coming out from his mouth. Quite big..and disgusting. The ball exploded while in the air,and just seconds later Narumi saw a small scene in front of her. Bombs and something that looked like an army,explosions and so on.. 

Narumi opened her eyes and saw the man on the floor,his head ripped from his body. Narumi tried to stay on her feet,but was dingling just a little..She breathed hard. Hinata had fallen somehow,and Naruto caught her. 

"The tenseigan.." the man said. "You need to stop it,byakugan Princess."
