A Ninja Heart (Naruto Fanfic,Completed)

Hokage confrotation

"You knew," Narumi said as she wiped away the blood from her mouth. "You knew I wasn't going to hit you if you fought me. That's the only way you could surely win.. That's why Sasuke said nothing." Naruto looked at her seriously,confirming that her  theory was right. 

"Basically," Narumi said,getting up. "You cheated." 

"I was simply thinking straight ahead." Naruto said,smirking with triumph. Narumi narrowed her eyes. 

"You cheated."

"But he still won." Kemi said,looking straight at Narumi. She nodded. But Narumi could not even look at Kemi.. 

"I'll stay by my words. But I have an errand to do first. You may follow us,and after that I'll do what you ask me to." 

One week later

Narumi entered the village she knew as her home. But it looked very different.. Probably cause it was destroyed? 

No emotions were available in her eyes though. But hear heart was a wrecking ship. Narumi looked across the room,her eyes narrowed. She wanted to ask so many stuff,but if she did,she would only show signs of care. 

"We're lucky only a small part of the village was destroyed,and that no one died." Shikamaru said to them. Sumo and Izuka had calm expression,but Narumi knew they were trying their best not to flinch. 

"You told me the entire village was destroyed." Narumi said,looking at Naruto,Sasuke and Sakura. 

"We had to lie," Naruto said. "Otherwise,you would never agree to the duel." Narumi looked at him blankly. 

"We know you care,Narumi," Sakura said,smiling sadly at Narumi. "We know you're trying not to show us you don't-"

"I don't." Narumi said. "If I did care about your village,I would've agreed to come without that stupid duel.." Narumi smirked and turned around,sitting on one of the stones. 

"I'll be waiting here." 

"Kakashi would want to-"

"I don't care what he wants." Narumi interrupted Kemi,giving her a cold look. "I do not serve under him." 

"Narumi.." Izuka said,looking at her meaningfully. She flinched and gave him a curious look. 

"Would you like to accompany them? Go ahead,no one is stopping you." Narumi took off her robe and revealed her very much revealing gear. Since her last gear was stapelled with leaf symbols,the Feudal Lords gave her the decision of seven new gears. For this mission,she picked a skirt cut on both sides and avery small croptop that revealed quite the cleavage. 

"Wow." Lee said as he looked at Narumi,his eyes big. Narumi smirked sedusingly and peeked at Sasuke,seeing his face red yet filled with jealousy at the looks the others were giving her. Naruto's face was,though,filled with anger at the others. 

"Stop looking." Naruto whispered to Lee as he took him by the ear. "Shikamaru,let's go!" Shikamaru nodded,and Narumi noticed Shikamaru,too,had been looking at her body. Almost everyone,except Sasuke and Naruto,had been looking at her body. 

"I'm staying here. You guys go.." Narumi looked over at Sasuke and saw the others leave before her eyes. She didn't glance at Sasuke when he looked at her.

He took her robe from the warm stone surface and hung it over her shoulders,which made Narumi look at him a blank expression. 

"You should go. Wouldn't want to miss your dear Hokage." Narumi said,her voice colder than usual. Before,when Narumi was still in the village after the war,she had been confused about her feelings for both Sasuke and Kakashi. She knew she couldn't have both,but she wanted Kakashi despite how much she loved Sasuke.

Shows out she had made the wrong decision. 

"We need to talk." 

"About what?" Narumi asked,not looking at Sasuke. "I don't see what there is to talk about."

"You." Sasuke said,sitting right next to her on the big stone. "Last year,Kakashi,you,me-"

"I don't want to." Narumi interrupted,her voice hrashening as she closed her eyes hard. "I do not want to talk about any of it."

"Narumi-"

"No." Narumi said. "I can't make up for what I did,and I can't talk about it. That's why I left." 

"You left me!" Sasuke suddenly said,his hand smashing on the stone,making Narumi jump a little. "I didn't care if you chose him over me,I still got to see you every day! Still..." Sasuke breathed hard,looked as if he was going to kill someone. 

"You're selfish,do you know that?" he said angrily. "You're the most selfish person I know." 

"I am not selfish!" she shot back,getting up from the stone and glaring at him with her look of hatred. She could not believe she was arguing with him after just meeting him again. 

Sasuke got up from the stone as his hot burning passionate eyes glared at her with anger."You are!"

"Give me one reason why I am! One good reason!" she yelled. 

"Cause you left even though you were the only person in my life that I truly loved!" he came closer to Narumi and tall as he was,he laid his hand softly on her cheek. 

"How do you think I felt..When you left me? The last person I could ever love more than myself?" Narumi's heart pounded like never before. She had forgotten what it was like to be so close to Sasuke..Had almost forgotten this feeling. 

Narumi had forgotten what it really meant to be close to someone and feel love..feel wanted. 

"I'm not selfish.." Narumi whispered,just as she felt Sasuke's head leaning on hers. She'd learned to not feel this anymore..And suddenly,it all came back to her. The feelings. All of it. Sure,Narumi had never stopped loving Sasuke nor Kakashi to be fair. It's just that she felt responsible. 

"If you won't stay..Then I'll have to make you stay." Sasuke said,and as always,he was the first to break free. He pulled away and started walking towards the village,leaving Narumi looking at him with complete shock. 

Just seconds later,Narumi turned around and saw Izuka.. His face was a little sad,and she knew he had just witnessed what just happened. 

"Order from the Hokage." Izuka said,just as Narumi narrowed her eyes in confusion. 

"I've told you I do not take orders from the Hokage,neither do you if I need to remind you." said Narumi,turning around and trying to look around for signs of anyone close around. 

"Narumi,if you don't Sumo's gonne be hostage there until the Hokage feels like letting him go. God knows how long that could be.." Sumo's hostage..damn it. They sure know how to get someone there. 

Narumi hesitated,of course. But she had no other choice. 

"Let's go then." Narumi said,walking along with Izuka towards the Hokage's office. When they were inside,she expected it to be a little different. But it wasn't..It was just like she remembered it. 

Suddenly,they were in front of the Hokage's office. And she knew the damned door was waiting for her to open it.. But it was like she wouldn't move or more likely her mind screamed no. But she did it anyway,opening the door with cold eyes,entering and seeing her brother move from the way,revealing the Hokage himself. 

"Narumi." Kakashi got up from his seat,looking at her.
