The Gilbert family was happy until the accident. After the death of her parents, Isabella Gilbert was devastated, more so then her identical twin sister and her brother, Elena and Jeremy. She tries her hardest to fit back into normal life at Mystic Falls but can't. She decides to go away. With help from her Aunt Jenna, Isabella moves to a small town in California, Beacon Hills. Will she be able to build a new life? Or will she get tied into the supernatural world? Who knows what will happen when a lone doppelgänger goes to Beacon Hills.
So I got this idea in the shower, "What if Elena had an identical twin sister? What would happen?" I also have this idea that something needs to happen in Derek's life to make him happy again. So why not mix the 2 ideas?
I really hope you like the story, this is my first attempt to write something with characters that are not from my head.
