"Maya Hart, Maya Hart please report the principles office," Everyone looked at Maya, Maya herself was confused. Last time she checked she never done anything bad, she was a good student. "Maya, I'll, write you a pass," Mr. Matthews, Maya's history teacher and Riley's dad, gave her a pass. He was also confused why Maya was called to the principle office, he knew Maya was a good student.

Maya started to walk down the hall filled with worry. Did she do something bad? She walked in and saw Lucas sitting in front of the principle, "Ms. Hart, please sit down," Mr. Yancy gave Maya a warm smile, he knew about Maya's home life.

"Principle Yancy, am I in trouble," Maya looked at Lucas, hoping he wasn't in trouble either, "Oh no, your not in trouble at all Maya. I called you here because Mr. Friar needs a tutor, his grades are very poor. If he doesn't bump up his grades he will have to start this year again."

Maya nodded smiling at Lucas, "Okay, no problem," Mr. Yancy smiled at Maya, "Okay then, very well. You two may go back to your classes."

They both exited the principles office, Lucas bursting out in laughter, "I can't believe you were that worried," Maya smiled teasingly, "Hey, now. I at least want to get in a decent college," Maya bumped Lucas shoulder, both of them feeling that same spark, "Don't worry Maya, I know you'll get into a good college," Those same butterflies came back to Maya.

Maya sighed, Lucas still hasn't come over to her house. They both agreed they would meet at Maya's house, Maya didn't know why not Lucas's house but she ignored that thought. She believed Lucas was a good person no matter what. Riley or anyone else would not tell her otherwise.

Finally, she heard a knock on her door. She quickly opened it up, she let out a relieved sigh, seeing it was Lucas, "Thank goodness your here, I was worried you almost got murdered," Lucas laughed as Maya let him in. He looked around, Maya's house wasn't fancy nor messy, it was doable.

"So, math or history?"

Maya laughed as Lucas made a joke in the show they were watching. Lucas and Maya were done with tutoring, surprisingly he understood right away, it was weird because he didn't understand first, now he understood when Maya was there. They sat next to each other, their shoulders touching, Maya tried her best not to blush and so did Lucas.

"I don't get how you can watch Full House, Jessie looks like a young Elvis Presley," Maya chuckled, "Don't diss the Jess, I love him, he's my favorite character," Lucas stared at Maya while she watched the show.

Lucas finally addressed his feelings, he had fallen in love with Maya. He didn't know how he did in one week, but it happened. Lucas wanted to be there for Maya, he wanted to hold her when she cried, he wanted to be the reason behind her smile.

"Stop staring at me like that," Maya finally looked up at Lucas, blushing at the same time. Lucas had no expression on his face, "Like what?," Maya turned off the tv, "Like I'm your everything."

They both didn't say anything, they didn't need to. They could just stare at each other and find out what they were trying to say. Lucas got closer to Maya, his minty breath fanning over her face. Maya didn't do anything, she wanted this moment as much as Lucas did.

Maya couldn't take it anymore and leaned in, capturing her lips with Lucas.
