Later that day, when the night sky took over Lucas had decided to apologize to Maya. He knew he had to apologize for his comment that offended Maya. Lucas still couldn't wrap his head around that girl he saw in the hallway. Something about the way her eyes being so hollow and hurt made him think she was somehow in his life.

But Lucas decided now was not the time to think about his life before the accident. But Maya thought it was. She wouldn't admit it but she missed Lucas. She missed the Lucas that would always listen to her rants. She missed the Lucas who called her Blonde Beauty. She missed the Lucas who loved her.

Maya was snapped out of her Lucas thoughts when she heard a knock on the door. She furrowed her eyebrows, thinking that her mom was early coming back from work. But when she opened the door her face changed to a blank stare looking at Lucas.

Maya leaned against the doorframe. "What are you dong here Lucas?"

Lucas looked into Maya's ocean eyes taking a deep breath, "I came to apologize." After a few minutes Maya answered.

"Yeah, well save your breath." Maya gave Lucas a glare before closing the door but Lucas decided he wasn't going to give up and put his hand on the door.

"Listen, give me a few minutes to explain. Please."

Maya looked at Lucas and suddenly felt nostalgia looking at his green eyes. She sighed, finally caving in. "Fine."

"I'm sorry for saying you don't know my pain. I didn't know your history and I'm sorry Maya, I really am." Lucas said, taking a step toward Maya.

Maya instinctively backed up, the last time she was this close with him was at the airport, where he found her. She searched his face trying to see if he really meant it or not. When she found no lies on his face, she sighed, "I forgive you."

Lucas let out a cheeky grin to which Maya rolled her eyes to. "So, what do you want to do? I kinda came here also to hang out with you." Lucas felt a light blush creep on his cheeks. He didn't know why, but he felt nervous around Maya.

"How about some Full House?"

It had been twenty minutes in watching Full House and Lucas seemed to complain already. "I don't get how you can watch Full House, Jessie looks like a young Elvis Presley."

At that moment Maya felt that only her and Lucas were the only ones in the world. She looked at the TV, at Lucas, and then the memory of her first kiss with Lucas struck her mind. She felt like her feelings were all over the place, like history was repeating itself.

"Maya, are you okay?" Lucas had a worried expression etched on his face as he noticed how Maya's mood went down.

"Nothing, um, let's do something else." She quickly turned off the TV getting up from the couch but felt a hand on her wrist. Maya looked down as she saw Lucas also getting up.

"Maya, what's wrong? Did I do something? Did that comment of Jessie offend you, I'm-"

"No, it's just." She sighed, "That opinion you said about Jessie was before we had our first kiss. Then my mom came in thinking we were going to have sex but she was-"

Maya didn't have a chance to finish when Lucas pulled her closer to him, kissing her right where their first kiss happened.
