"No! No road trips! No boys!" Cory Matthews yelled at his daughter, the family were eating dinner. Auggie, Riley's little brother looked back and forth between two, scared something bad will happen if he got involved. Topanga, Cory's wife and Riley's mom, only sighed. She sometimes wished Riley hadn't gotten her determination.
"But Dad, this is Maya were talking about!" Riley slammed her hands down, growing more frustrated by the minute. "I don't care! You could've mended you and Maya's relationship earlier! But you choose now, going on road trip just to find her! And with a boy!" Cory was tired, if only Riley listened to him. He just wanted to protect his daughter from the world.
"Dad, you taught me how to never give up. You disc to make the world my own. So why won't you let me go out out there and explore it?! There was an eerie silence over the Matthew's table. Cory only sighed, knowing his daughter was right, how else will Riley make the world her own, if she downer know the dangers and sadness beyond it. At school, Cory was Riley's teacher, and as her teacher he wanted her to grow up. Move on.
But at home he's her father, and as a father, he just didn't want his daughter to grow up, it was a fight between the two people who care about Riley. "So, can I go?" Riley looked at her father with hopeful eyes. "What are you waiting for, make the world your own." Riley squeaked going over to her father, muttering a thousand thank you's, before running to her room to pack.
"I'm proud of you." Topanga smiled at her husband, taking a ute out of the chicken she made. Cory only smiled at his lovely wife, "I know I did."

Lucas father smiled, he was quite happy with his sons visit, but he still regrets everything he did to hurt him. Lucas thought it was okay enough to tell his father what happened with Maya, or as he likes to call her. His Blonde Beauty.
"Nothin much, just going on a road trip with a friend to find my Blonde Beauty. The redskins won, so that's great. How was your day dad." Lucas smiled, sitting next to hit father. His father, William, let out a deep chuckle. "I love the redskins news, but what about this road trip to find your Blonde Beauty."
Lucas let out a faint smile, "I love her dad, and I can't love the thought knowing I hurt her. It's my fault she ran away in the first place." There was a short silence before William broke it, "Hey, I hurt you in many ways, I still regret all of it. And I know I didn't say this earlier, but I'm sorry. Don't make the same mistakes I did son, you go find your Blonde Beauty."
Lucas was shocked, he expected his father to say no. But then again, William was never a real parent, and both of them knew that. "Thanks dad." Lucas leaned and patted his dad on the back.
