Maya and Lucas stood against the bookshelves, in a heated make out. Maya didn't mind Lucas touching her all over, she loved the feeling. Finally, after another five minutes, Maya separated from Lucas, "I think that's enough for the day," Maya and Lucas laughed, they sat back down to where they were sitting.

"So, you excited for homecoming," Maya looked at Lucas, her mind reverting back to homecoming. It was Friday and everyone was excited, this homecoming was going to be great. The school got enough money, that they decided to held homecoming inside the Tipton Hotel Ballroom. Everyone was happy, and the teachers were to.

The big question was, is Maya excited? She never had experienced a school dance, with her reputation, she couldn't go to one. Now, she can, no one has bothered her recently and she wants it to say that way. Meanwhile, Lucas was feeling bad all over. He felt bad he had to do this to Maya, but it was to protect her.

Missy's plan was just awful, he just knew it. He still wanted Maya to remember him, how he held her when she cried, how he gave her happiness to her life, how he cared about her. Lucas wanted Maya to remember all that. Lucas decided today was the day he was going to tell Maya his story.

"I guess, I mean I never been to a homecoming," After a lot of thinking Maya said her answer, "Well, I'm glad I'm the first to let you experience that," Lucas gave a cheeky grin to Maya, Maya in response blushing. After a few minutes of comfortable silence, Lucas spoke up, "Maya, I think it's time to tell you my story."

Maya stopped eating, she was happy Lucas finally could tell her his story. After all, she didn't want to be those girlfriends who force their boyfriends to tell what there hiding. Maya wasn't like that, growing up with a single mother, she learned a lot. To not force the person to tell you, to wait, because waiting is just what they need.

"Okay, are you sure your okay with telling, well me," Maya never failed to make never Lucas smile, "Yeah, I'm sure."

He took a deep breath, just like Lucas did, Maya leaned her head on Lucas's arm, holding him, "My sister, Bella, was born before me, making her two years older. I was born into a great family, a mom and a dad. That all changed when the bills kept getting higher, my mom, she was okay, but my dad," Maya immediately stopped him, "You don't have to go on."

"No," Lucas shook his head, giving Maya's forehead a kiss, "I want to, I have to," Lucas felt guilty again, he was surprised that he wasn't acting weird around Maya, "My dad, he decided to go to the bar more, so, he got drunk more. He went too far and killed my mother," Lucas stopped, taking a big deep breath.

"The police couldn't get any evidence on him, we would've said he did it, but me and Bella were too scared. Then, he started to abuse Bella, I wanted to, I tried. I tried to tell her that I should take the pain, but she made an oath, and oath to protect me. She made that since I was born, so she took the pain. It's hard to watch, seeing your bigger sister in pain," Maya rubbed his back soothingly.

Maya didn't want to ask questions about why he didn't go to the police, she let Lucas continue, "My dad went to far, he put Bella in coma. I was a monster, everyone feared me, truth is, I'm just broken. Was broken, until I met you," Maya smiled at Lucas, and kissed him.

She knew I that moment, she was happy, if only she knew what Lucas was up to.
