"Lucas! Wait up!," Riley tried to run in her two inch boots, but failed to do so. She felt like the floor was tripping her, the walls were running into her, and people were just rude. Lucas was the one who was supposed to send a picture of his girlfriend to Josh, saying that he was lucky, but it was the other way around, "Lucas?"

"Are you? Not only did Maya run away but she decided to change her identity! And I'm the one who caused this, this, this...pain!" Riley patted his shoulder, while Lucas silently cried, "Trust me I know, my boyfriend left, with no word or why." Lucas was surprised, but that didn't help him. "But it's not too late," Riley faintly smiled, she knew it wasn't, Lucas knew Maya's doing okay, it's not too late, "That's want everyone says"

Lucas's hope he just had, went away, "And they're not wrong, where does this Josh guy live?"

"California, why?" Lucas thought there was no point in telling Riley where Josh lived. He was sure Maya wouldn't just come back to New York, it's been one month, "How do you feel about a road trip Lucas?" Lucas looked up as Riley dangled her car keys in front of her, Lucas let out a faint smile, he knew where Riley was going with this. He took the car keys from her hand, his hope coming back, "Let's go find Maya."
