Lucas exited the men restroom, too many memories coming back to him. How he had lied to Maya on the day of the dance. How he had looked at Maya as he made fun of her. How, he didn't even show the slightest bit of regret, because he knew he was done for. You should've, Lucas thought. But he sighed, walking around the airport, trying to find Riley.

Meanwhile, Maya had started to miss her mother dearly. The one thing Maya does regret about leaving is that she and her mother were just starting to build a relationship. A mother is a great person to have around, and Maya knew that. She was looking around the airport, her hat covering her face. Maya sighed sitting down, but she spotted another girl, who looked like she was about to run away.
In this situation, Maya would just let the girl be, she must've had a hard life. But Maya went through this, and she wasn't gonna let that girl go through it either. So she walked up to the girl, and sat next to her, "Let me guess, your running away because you can't take life throwing you to the ground."
The girl looked shocked, thinking, who the hell does she think she is, "No, I'm waiting for my parents." Maya chuckled, "No, I think your lying. I mean, you have your hat down low, your suitcase looks small. And that outfit you have on is so last season."
"So what?" The girl, Veronica, snapped at Maya. And Maya could clearly see that Veronica wanted to run away from her troubles, "A little tip, don't. Trust me, I've been through it, it didn't work out."
"Okay, if your telling the truth, why did you run away?" Veronica raised her eyebrows, suspicious to know why this blonde woman was talking to her, "Love, that's why I ran away."
Veronica pursed her lips, suddenly feeling bad, "Funny, that's what I ran away from." Maya let out a sad smile, "Listen kid, don't make the same mistakes I did."
Maya got up form her seat, smiling at Veronica, and beginning her way to the airport. Maya knew she was being a hypocrite, she did, but she just didn't know how to stop running away. She just wanted to help that girl, so she doesn't become addicted to it.

Lucas walked and walked, feeling bored. Josh said he would come in an hour picking them up, but traffic got in the way of that. Lucas sat in one of the shops, sighing to himself. He felt heartbreak, everywhere. He felt it when he saw couples holding hands, kissing near the water fountain, and making out behind the shops. He and Maya used to do that, well, if you take out the making out part, plus they only did it one time.
But that was when a miracle came to Lucas. He spotted a familiar blonde, too familiar. He furrowed his eyebrows, no, wait. He took a closer look.
It was his Blonde Beauty.
All Lucas thought was, run. And so he did, he ran closer to Maya, but not like those cliche movies. He felt that Maya and him had a special love story, and those are the ones where you can't see them on the big screens. "Maya!"
Maya turned around, curious to who was calling her name. But when she did, she froze in place.
It was her ex-Huckleberry.
"Lucas?" She felt speechless, how did he find her so fast? She knew there was two ways to this situation, she could either run, or run up to Lucas and hug the living day lights out of him. But her mind was all over the place, everything seemed to go in slow motion. But when Lucas came closer and closer, she knew she which choice she wanted.
She walked away.
She couldn't handle the pressure, she felt her whole world crashing down. Maya knew at this moment, seeing Lucas made her feel heartbreak, longing, and regret. But she felt someone turn her around, and it was Lucas. She was face to face with the person who had broke her heart, but at the same time, gave her love.
Both of them were too speechless, Maya had noticed they were at the back of the airport, not a lot of people were here. "Maya..your here, your actually here."
Maya didn't say anything, she was too scared. "Maya, please say something." And that's when Maya heard the heartbreak in Lucas's voice, and she knew, that no one can fake that kind of heartbreak. "Your heartbroken, your heartbroken because of me."
Her eyes watered, "Of course I am. Maya, I want you to know, I never meant for what happened at the dance. It was all Missy."
And that's when Maya Hart blew up.
"What, so your saying Missy is behind all of this?! Because if you are, then that's a hella lame excuse Lucas Friar."
"Maya, please believe me, Missy said if I didn't go along my plan, my..father would hurt you."
Maya put her hands and Lucas's chest and pushed him away. She was tired of this bullshit. "Sorry doesn't mean anything Lucas! So what, your sorry, why didn't you stop the plan then Lucas!"
"Stop."
"No, don't tell me to stop! Did you ever think how it would hurt me?!"
"Would you stop."
"Look, if you loved me you would have told me about Missy's plan. And you say it's Missy's fault. Oh, and let me guess it's her fault for-"
Maya gasped when Lucas put his hands on her cheeks, realizing how close they were for this to happen. Maya felt emotions run all through her. Lucas looked at Maya, his gaze stone hard. Maya could feel the Sparks and fireworks, and butterflies run all through her. And again, Maya Hart had realized how much she missed Lucas. She had missed his touch on him.
Lucas had missed her blue eyes, how they would always show passion when she did those adorable rants. He felt love, he finally felt love.
Lucas couldn't take it anymore, and took a a leap of faith. Lucas kissed Maya, he felt her tears run down her face. And yes, Maya was crying. She put her hand on Lucas's cheeks, she felt bliss. She knew she didn't want to experience this with the boy who broke her heart, but he was her first love. And you can never forget about your first love. They finally separated, both of them breathless and confused.
"Why did you do that?"
That question threw Lucas off guard, "It's simple, it has three words, they mean something, and I have felt it with you ever since I found out my feelings for you."
Maya was again speechless by Lucas Friar, but she wanted Lucas to prove it to her if he regrets everything that happened at the dance, "Lucas, prove it to me, prove to me that you regret everything at the dance. It just takes three words."
Lucas was shocked, he didn't know how to react. Hell, with Maya Hart, he thought it was always a dream. But Lucas would do anything for Maya, if it meant, she would be back in his life.
"I.." Maya smiled sadly, by now their minds were all over the place.
"Love..." Lucas let out a little smile.
"You.." Maya kissed him once he said those words, there was no lies in them. There was no uncertainty, no, it was true.
Maya and Lucas knew this must be a dream, but it was a dream come true for them. Love is real, after all.
