SHEILA'S POV:

"Dad stop!" I screamed, following him up the stairs. He threw my bedroom door open and started ripping my blankets and sheet off of the bed.

"Please dad! Reconsider! You're being ridiculous!" I shouted, feeling my eyes welling up with tears.

He shoved the blankets into trash bags and moved to my closet. He began tearing clothes off of their hangers and shoving them into suitcases.

"Dad fucking stop!"

He paused immediately and turned to gape at me. "What did you say to me?" He growled.

"I said fucking stop." I repeated. I never cursed in front of him. He moved towards me, hand raised. I took a step back in terror. Is he going to hit me?

The sound of footsteps in the hallways made him stop. Jack poked his head into the room.

"Everything okay in here?" He asked in that sweet Jack voice.

"Let me handle my daughter." Dad snarled at Jack. Jack looked over at me, pity in his eyes. He gave me a thumbs up and I gave him a thumbs up back. With that, he slipped out of my room. I rose to feet steadily, eyes locked with my dads.

"I need to get you away from that boy." He huffed, anger apparent in his face and eyes.

"There's nothing wrong with that boy." I spat.

"Sheila, pack your shit. We're leaving." He demanded.

"Make me." I crossed my arms.

"You have to the count of 3." Dad said in a low dark voice. "1.."

"2." I smiled at him wickedly. Wow...Luke's attitude has seriously rubbed off on me. His cheeks flared red in anger.

"3." He said. But when he said 3, nothing happened. He stood there, looking stupid and unsure of himself. I approached him boldly.

"You're a coward." I whispered bitterly, and begun to pack my clothes.

LUKE'S POV:

I watched Sheila and her douche bag dad walk up the stairs. She was giving him hell. That's my girl. A slow grin spread across my face.

"Why in the hell are you smiling?" Mum barked at me. Jack started whistling awkwardly.

"I'm going to go check on them upstairs." Jack muttered, slinking up the stairs .

"Luke, how could you do this to me?" She asked, eyes red from tears and rage. my gut twisted, I hated seeing her upset.

"Do this to you?" I scoffed. "You've gotta be kidding me."

"No, and i'm amazed that you think this is funny!"

"Let's go over the facts, mum. Dad left you because you were psycho. You wouldn't even try to get help so he wouldn't come back! We needed him." I spat, ignoring the tears streaking down her face. "Jack, Ben, me... we needed a father."

"Luke..." She sobbed. "I'm sor-"

"I'm not done yet!" I interrupted her. "And i come home and after all this time, you finally get your shit together long enough to get married and it's to a guy I haven't even met!" I shook my head at her. "And you're mad at me." I glared at her.

She was a crying mess. I should've felt bad but my heart was stone cold right now.

"Luke do you know what you've done?" She cried. "My happiness had just started to come back... I had my kids in the same house and a man to love me and a daughter. Luke! I had a daughter.."

I didn't even realize I was crying until i tasted the salt in my mouth. I wiped them away roughly. "I know exactly what I did." I said, I could feel my voice crack and soften. "I fell in love."

With that, i turned around and climbed the stairs to my bedroom. I slammed the door behind me and jumped into my bed. I closed my eyes and felt anger, frustration, sadness and so much more overwhelm me.

I'm not sure how I fell asleep, but I knew when I woke up Sheila would be gone.
