Chapter 10 "Little Secret"

Garroth's P.O.V

This is my chance...

I thought to myself as I wrapped my arm around Aphmau's shoulder.

As she slept I stroked her long,beautiful,black hair.If only we could stay like this forever.

"We're here sir."

I smiled and looked at Aphmau.As much as I hate to wake her up,I have to,or else she wouldn't see what I have in store for her.

I took one last glance at her and took my arm away.

"Aphmau,we're here,wake up."

I said while shaking her gently.She smiled and woke up.

Was she awake all this time?!?!

"Garroth,where are we?"

I took a blindfold from my pocket and tied in on her eyes.

"It's for you to find out"

I helped her out of the cab and led her to the place.

"You can take it off now."

I instructed.When she took it off the look on her face was priceless.

"Garroth..."

I smiled and asked her.

"Do you like it?"

"Garroth...It's beautiful"

I bet she liked the view.I took her to my favorite place on top of the hill.

The night sky and the bright stars are perfect.The view of the town was beautiful, the town was lit up perfectly.I knew she would love this.

I let her sit on my favorite spot.Beside the tree.

"Garroth....this is so perfect..."

I watched her as she gazed the night sky in awe.

"Lie down and look up"

She did what I told her and she cried.Why is she crying?

"Aphmau!"

I helped her up and worried.

"Why are you crying? Is everything okay?"

She laughed and smiled at me.

"Garroth,no.It's just that...how could you think of this so fast? I love everything about this place."

She said looking at my eyes.I wiped her tears and hugged her.

"It just came to me.Remember the time when we first met? You said you wanted an escape from reality.Now I give you that."

She broke our hug and smiled.

"Thank you,for remembering the small details about how we met.You're so sweet"

She held me in a tight embrace and cried a little more.

I let her emotions flow until she stopped.

"I-I'm sorry.Let's just lie down and enjoy the stars"

She said breaking away from me.We both lay down in silence.

I laid my hand on the ground and smiled.I moved my hand a little and felt hers.

I was a little shocked when she took my hand and held it tight.

"Garroth?"

She asked.Her voice so soft.

"Yes?"

I said facing her.She sat down upright and helped me up too.

"I-uh"

She felt embarrassed because she blushed.

"What is it Aphmau?"

I said putting a part of her hair behind her ear.

"I...I think I love you"

I smiled.This is what I've been waiting for.It finally happened.

"What is that again?"

I joked.She giggled and punched me in the arm playfully.

"I said I love you silly"

"What? I can't hear you,can you please scream it?"

She laughed at my reply.

"I love you!!!"

She screamed standing up.

"Sorry,I have a little problem with my ear.One more time please? Louder? I want my full name there"

She laughed and faced the perfectly lit city.

"I LOVE YOU
GARROTH ALEX O'KHASIS!!!!"

I smiled and stood up.

"There's that phrase I was waiting for."

I said while holding her hand.We stood there,blushing in silence.

We looked at each other and I just felt the urge...to...to kiss her.

I leaned closer and held her cheek.We both closed our eyes but then....

*ring ring* Laurence is calling.

I looked at my phone.

"Stupid Phone Call ruining my first kiss"

I heard Aphmau mumble.I laughed.

"Laurence?"

"Where are you guys? We've been looking for you everywhere!"

"We got out to uh...buy something...from the supermarket"

I said facing Aphmau and smirking.

"Well hurry up! It's late and we still have a photoshoot tomorrow at 8"

"Okay,we're coming"

I ended the phone call and put my hands in my pockets.I bit my lower lip and faced Aphmau.

"Soooo...is it.."us" now?"

I asked shyly.Aphmau laughed and put her arms around my shoulders.

"What do you think?"

I held her close to me and blushed.

"I think that's a yes?"

Aphmau hugged me tight,placing her head on my chest.

"I love the idea of that...But now is not the time to tell them.This is our....little secret"

I laughed and kissed her forehead.

"Little secret.... I like the sound of that"

We called a cab and went back to the restaurant.She kissed me in the cheek and placed her head in my shoulder and dozed off.

Little Secret....I like the sound of that.....
