Devine's POV
I was just starring at him without blinking. when he step at the stairs and move up to come to me I snap back to reality and rush to my room fast and lock my door. I heard him shout my name to stop me pero hindi ko siya nilingon. My heart is beating fast I can feel the tears falling down my cheecks. I am so confused right now than ever.
That night I left Miguel waiting for me outside and I feel terrible for him. I cried all night and let my self drift to sleep..
When I woke up It's already nine in the morning. I still have an hour to get ready.
My eyes was blood shot from crying all night as I wash my face. Naligo ako at nag bihis.
Bumaba nako sa kwarto ko at dumeretcho sa kusina only to find out that he was there. Ian was there eating with my parents.
"Oh god." Mahina niyang sabi.
She step back and holds her chest. When I look back he was smilling at me and I want to roll my eyes at him but I have no energy to do so.
"Good morning Iha," bati sakin ni Mama.
Hindi ko alam kung saan ako uupo dahil ang bakante lang ay ang sa katabi ni Ian. and I knew my Father very well that he planned this. Haist. Matagal akong nakatayo roon, pinag-iisipan kung kakain paba ko o tatakbo na palabas.
"Eve sit please, Ayokong pinag-iintay mo ang pagkain." I mocks him and rolls my eyes I heard Ian laugh a bit when he saw what I just did. I blush at the realization.
So I have no choice but to sit beside him.
Kumuha lang ako ng Ilang piraso ng hotdog at onting kanin. My parents are busy talking so he grab that offortunity to talk to me.
"Hey,"
Nilingon ko siya at nginitian to be honest I don't want to talk to him right now.
"I heard you doing fine?" Oo pero dumating ka hindi na.
"Yeah," tipid kong sabi.
"They told me you worked at a publishing company?" Nabitiwan ko ng hindi sinasadya ang kutchara ko and I caught everyone's attention.
"I- uh I have to go baka malate ako." I said and stand up.
"Oh that's right! Ian Ihatid mo na si Eve." I stop walking as I heard what my father just said.
"Dad! no, I'm fine!" Sabi ko na parang bata. I hate acting like this but I can't help it.
"Yeah Dad she's a big girl now she can manage." sabi niya pa.
"No I insist go." I roll my eyes at my father. Ang aga-aga binabadtrip niya ko. I storm out of our house and walk outside. I waited him.
"I- I'm sorry about that Eve." Gusto ko ring magalit sa kanya pero hindi iyon tama.
"No It's fine hindi mo naman kasalanan. Mapilit lang talaga si Dad minsan."
I said as he lead me to his car. I forgot how many years have passed and he's successful now. I hate that he calls my Dad like it's his own Dad ugh.
I was just starring out the window as I told him where I worked.

One hour have passed and still he hasn't going out. Napahampas ako saking manibela.
Your so stupid to bought that up Miguel. I should have just shut my mouth. I just ruined everything haist!
