Devine's POV

"You okay?"

I snap. A clumsy I am, I consiously fell the fork I'm just using. making some noise that caught some people attention.

"Sorry," sabi ko sabay ayos ng upo. Feeling ko tuloy may nakatingin parin kahit wala na.

"Gusto mo na bang umuwi?" I smile at Ian's concerned look at me. He ask me out and take me into this fancy restaurant near Makati.

I am happy that He ask me out for lunch again kahit na hindi maganda ang mood ko nitong mga nakaraang araw. I take a break from writing and It's been a week. Kinausap ko ang Boss namin at pumayag siyang mag leave ako. Nakakapagtaka man dahil bigla siyang bumait samin hindi ko nalang pinansin.

It's been a week since then, hanggang ngayon hindi parin kami nag kikita.

Dahil umiiwas ka at Ayaw mo rin siyang makita.

Bumuntong hininga ako dahil duon. Hindi ko alam bakit ganito yung nararamdaman ko. I feel cheated at ang bigat bigat sa pakiramdam. This is new to me, It was something that I didn't felt for anyone even for Ian. Funny how I feel cheated even though in the first place we're not even together. Pero iyon ang nararamdaman ko at hindi ko alam kung bakit. I should feel nothing, I shouldn't be worried on anything or anyone pero hindi. I've been thinking of him one week straight. Hindi ko alam kung mabuti ba o masama iyon eh. I am mad so mad at him. He makes me feel like I was the only one for him, that he cares for me that he likes me.. then in one swift I wasn't. I lost the precious thing with one mistake ang masakit pa hindi ko na iyon maibabalik dahil nangyari na.

"Since we arrived here you're still not touching your food Eve,"

I let out a sigh. He's right ginagalaw ko lang iyon pero hindi kinakain. Dahil wala akong gana. I just can't help but to think of his reason, his explanation. Pero natatakot akong pakinggan iyon. My trust have been crashed like a landslide in a heavy storm when I found out he's dating other girl besides me.

This wouldn't be happening if Ian.. No. no. He's been a good friend to me. I shouldn't blame this on him.

Then again you are defending him even though you know he is the reason behind all of this.

Pinilit ko nalang kainin ang inorder ni Ian para sa 'kin. I smile to assure him that I was really okay. Hindi ko nalang pinansin ang mga bagay na naiisip ko at patuloy lang sa pagkain.

I am starting to understand what he feels. He's jelous and so Am I.. We liked each other, want each other. So much that we are so selfish to think of anyone, We forgot other people and other important things because we're so into each other.

Pagkatapos kong maubos ang kinakain ko ay hinatid na niya ko samin.

Sa buong biyahe si Ian lang ang nag sasalita puro oo, talaga, good for you at tango lang ang mga sagot ko hanggang sa makarating kami samin.

He opens the door for me. I just smiled at him.

"Thanks for the lunch Ian."

"You're welcome Eve, Take care." He told me then kiss my forehead. I wave him good bye before I head inside.

It's already five and I feel so exausted. Paakyat nako ng hagdan ng may napansin akong parang nakatingin sakin kaya nilingon ko ang bahagi niyon. I was stunned to see him standing there looking at me. He looks so much exausted than me.

Anong ginagawa niya dito? Did my Parents let's him in?

"Finally! You're back Eve, kanina kapa hinihintay nitong si Miguel."
