When you fall in love with a vampire part 3/3
You were sitting on the couch in front of the television. Baekhyun was out to get something to eat, as well for himself as for you, but your food came from the supermarket and not from the woods. You don't know why but you had decided to watch a horror movie tonight, and it was really freaking you out. You were hugging your pillow while staring at the screen with your mouth open. You sucked in your breath when the girl headed to the badroom door, wanting to open it what she definitely shouldn't do.
Your full concentration was on the scene and you forgot everything else around you. And just when the girl pushed down the handle of the door you felt a hot breath next to your ear. You screamed out loud while you jumped of the couch so fast that you fell on the ground and bumped your head against the cornor of the little table in front of you. "Oh god, are you okay?" Baekhyun kneeled down beside you and rubbed your head while looking down at you with concern. You would never hear Baekhyun when he came in because his footsteps were so quiet. And at this moment he had really scared the hell out of you, you almost pooped in your pants.
"Aaaw." You wailed while his hands still covered the bump on your head. You were sure that this was going to be blue tomorrow. "I'm so sorry." He said while pulling you back on the couch and sat you down on his lap. "It's okay, you didn't mean to." You said and patted his leg to convince him that you were fine. "I still feel bad." He muttered and leaned his head against your shoulder what caused that his soft hair tickled your skin. "It's okay, I forgive you." You giggled as he still held his hand against your head to replace the ice, his hand was just as cold.
You sighed in content and pouted when Baekhyun turned the movie off. "You shouldn't watch these kind of things." He said while wrapping his arms around you and dragging you closer. "Why not? It's exciting." You mumbled while hiding your face in his neck. By now Baekhyun learned how to control himself around you, alhtough he still craved for your blood. Sometimes you still let him take some from you, but most of the time he didn't accept it. He didn't want to use you as his food anymore because you meant more to him than just that.
You must say that your life also changed now you have a relationship with a vampire. It was fun, Baekhyun was perfect for you. He was funny, sweat, romantic, gave you all his time and attention... But this also had a bad side. You were already together for 8 months now and you had never had more from him then a kiss or a hug. You understood that sex was difficult but you were almost desperate now. You loved him and wanted to show that to him, but he didn't let you. Everytime you tried to go a step further he told you that it was to dangerous for you and that he didn't want to hurt you. And yes, you understood, but still...
While you were thinking of these things you became more and more sad. Baekhyun seemed to notice your change of mood and held you tighter, afraid that you were still mad because he hurt you. "_________-ah?" He said while kissing your cheek. "Are you okay?" You shrugged and didn't really feel like talking to him right now. You sighed before you loosened his arms around you and stood up. He helplessly looked how you walked to the bedroom while completely ignoring him.
It hurt you that he didn't want you, it made you feel like you weren't good enough for him. That he didn't love you enough to even just try it, to even just give it a chance. Maybe a vampire - human relationship wans't such a good idea after all. Maybe he should find someone of his own race so he could do everything he wanted and didn't always had to be careful not to hurt her. Maybe you should just give up...
And even though he had promised you that he wouldn't read your thoughts anymore he couldn't help it this time. He wanted to know why you were like this and when he heard your mind speaking to him he felt heart broken. He never knew that you felt like this. He didn't know that you wanted this so badly. He never knew that you thought that he didn't want you because you weren't good enough. He didn't mean to make you feel that way, because it wasn't like that. He did want to have sex with you, but he was so scared to hurt you. He would never forgive himself if he would, so he had told himself he wouldn't do it. But now, this changed everything.
