When he surprises you on your birthday part 2/2

You had told Miranda that you wanted to go alone. She had almost begged you to let her go with you but you had refused. This was your surprise and if it was fake you didn't want to get ambarrassed in front of anyone else, so you wanted to go by yourself. She had wailed, and had threatened but eventually had given up when she had seen that you really weren't going to give in into her pleads. So now here you were, holding the handle of the door from the music room tightly in your hand.

Now you still had the time to change your mind. Once you would press this handle down there would be no way back anymore. Were you prepared for the humility and disappointment you would feel if this was all one big set up game? How were you going to tell Miranda that you had been tricked? Were you even going to tell her or were you going to make something up? You shook the thoughts off and changed your mind. If you wouldn't go in you wouldn't know right? You would deal with the consequences of this later, but now it was time for some action.

You took a sharp breath before you put pressure on the handle and pushed it open slowly. You walked inside, surprised to see that the room was totally dark because the lights were out. You shrieked loud from fear when suddenly the door closed behind you with a slam and immediately you started to think of a way to get out of here again. Then your eyes widened when you saw how a couple of candles started to burn. "Happy birthday to you..." He started to sing as he walked closer to you with the birthday cake in his hands.

You were lost for words as you listened to his singing and watched how he kept stepping closed until he was right in front of you and the song had ended. "B-Baekhyun?" You stuttered and he smirked to you. "Hey ______-ah." He muttered quietly and instantly your cheeks reddened. "You're B aren't you?" You asked shy and he chuckled. "Guilty as charged." You shook your head and managed to giggle over the shock. "So what? You're my secret admire?" It was meant as a joke but you became quit when he anwsered. "And again you're correct."

Your jaw dropped as you stared at him which made him grin. "And I know you like me too because otherwise you wouldn't stare at me that dreamily in class all the time." You scoffed before rolling your eyes and crossing your arms. "I have no idea what you're talking about." You muttered quietly but he just chuckled what made all the little hairs on your arms stand up straight. "Are you still going to blow these candles or what? The cake is pretty heavy." He informed and you laughed before pursing your lips, thinking of a wish and then you blew.

You gasped as it turned dark again and heard Baekhyun shuffle beside you. "I think we can turn the lights on now." Then it became light in the room and you stared to the smirking guys in front of you. "EXO...." You groaned and they all laughed at your comment. "The one and only." Chen lifted his eyebrows playfully and then Suho hit his head. "Let's leave those two, our job is done here." Chen facial expression instantly dropped. "But hyung..." Before he could finish Suho had already pulled him with him and had shut the door behind the last butt.

You were still in a dazed state as Baekhyun cleared his throat beside you. You replaced your attention back to him and saw his eyes were darting around the room a little nervously, you had never seen the cool Byun Baekhyun being nervous before. "So...I guess that I have to confess then?" His cheeks turned pink as he scratched the back of his head cutely. You nodded, more than willing to listen to him. "Well you know, I alreay like you for a while now but I always thought that it was just me. But then I caught you staring at me one day and I noticed that you started to do it more often. I'm used to the attention of girls but when I saw that you were showing interest in me I was really happy , but still to shy to confront you."

He explained a little embarrassed but you nodded, telling him that he had to continue. "And then the guys told me it was your birthday today, which would of course be the perfect day to do something special for you. So the guys helped me with this and now I'm standing here like a fool, embarrassing myself and hoping that you can give me a chance and be my girlfriend...because I really l-like you." He stuttered in the end which made you giggle. "I never imagined that this would ever happen." You said calmly and he smiled. "But it is."

You sighed before nodding your head firmly. "Okay, I'll give you a chance." He smirked and you laughed when he did a little dance. "Let's eat the cake now." He suggested and you nodded. Your eyes widened when you saw how his finger all of a sudden dipped into the cake and how he smeared it all over your cheek. "Hahahaha, got ya!" He yelled in victory and you pouted. "You're on now Byun Baekhyun." You took your own piece of cake in return and it landed perfectly on his nose. "Ha! Take that!"

He smirked and soon the two of you started a little war. You both laughed as he fired the last shot and it spilled all over your lips. You blinked in surprise and brought your hand up to wipe it off but he stopped you by grabbing your wirst calmly. "Let me do that for you." He whispered while coming closer and cupping your cheeks with his free hand. You swallowed audibly as you looked away from him. "______-ah..." The way he said your name made your eyes slip back to his and they locked. A smile was spread over his face as he closed the distance and put his lips on yours, opening them a bit so he could lick the food off of your mouth.

You trembled a little before kissing him back and grabbing a hold of his shirt. His other arm wrapped around your waist to pull you even more against his chest as his lips brushed over yours sweetly. The taste of his lips and the sweet cake was making you dizzy and when he pulled back and released you, you tripped backwards. "Wow!" He quickly catched you and smirked. "I didn't know I had this much effect on you." His brows danced playfully and you giggled. "Neither did I."

He chuckled and you closed your eyes in content when he pecked your forehead. "Happy birthday baby." He smiled and you couldn't help but return one. "The best birthday ever." He nodded and then brought his mouth to your ear. "You know, our one year anniversary will also be on your birthday, isn't that awesome?" You smiled and stared into his eyes. "Seems like an amazing day."
