When it's all just as you remembered

You walked over the sand path and the little stones cracked underneath your heels. You shoulder long, black hair was blowing in the wind and the sun was shining on your milky skin. The screaming fans were surrounding you and you stood still at the total back, where not too many people were standing. You were here to see EXO, but especially you were here to see Baekhyun.

Your situation was complicated, you couldn't exactly tell what your relationship was. One year ago you had been told that you had cancer, Baekhyun had been your boyfriend at that time. He had stayed with you for a really long time, but when his career had started to suffer under your illness. So you had told him to leave you, and he had done that, with a lot of pain in his heart. You had never broken up with each other, but of course back then you didn't know if you would survive or not.

And now you were standing here, staring down at your feet and closing your eyes when his voice echoed over the place through the microphone. It was just as you remembered, smooth, sexy, beautiful, lovingly. The song was coming to an end and that was the moment that you lifted your head. Your eyes slipped immediately to him, he hadn't changed that much, but he had changed. He was still skinny and tall, but his hair color was different once again. He body was now looking more like a man then like a little boy, and you liked it. But except for that, he was looking just as you remembered

You smiled a little and sighed, it was nice to see that he was living his life well. Now it was time for you to leave again, so he could go on with living it. You started to walk backwards, not losing your eyes from his figure. Just then, you wanted to turn around, the song ended, and his eyes crossed yours. Theyslid past you and straight back again when he recognized you. By the time he did you were already walking away again. Your steps were small and feminine, making your body move in a sensual way while moving further away from the stage.

The fans were starting to run to the exit too, but you just watched ahead, not making eye contact with anyone in particular. "Excuse me miss?" You stopped when an unknown voice shouted at you and turned around to meet it. It was one of the bodyguards, at least you thought so since he was dressed in black and he was looking dangerous and strong. "Is there something wrong?" You asked, your voice sounding as fresh and light as always. "Mister Byun asked me to get you backstage." He said, you were a little bit surprised because you hadn't noticed that he had recognized you. You nodded and followed the man through the crowd. Your heart started to beat faster, your hands started sweating and your breath peeped a little when you approached the door to EXO's dressing room.

The man in front of you knocked the door and opened it. After that he stepped aside to let you in and you applied that. Again, with tiny steps, with clacking heels, you stepped through the doorway. The guys immediately turned quiet as soon as you came in, they stared at you as if they were looking at a ghost. This thought made you laugh inside, since you had almost been gone. You lift your gaze up and met the only one you had been longing for for the last year. He was staring at you in awe, like he didn't believe his eyes. Like he was scared that he was dreaming and that he would wake up any second and that you would be gone again.

You smiled slightly with trembling lips, emotions were flooding you and you didn't know how to react. "__________-ah!" Jongdae suddenly screamed as he ran up to you and flew into your arms, wanting a hug. Your giggles filled the room and Baekhyun's eyes widened at the sound of it. Your laugh made his heart relax again and made him feel so peaceful. Jongdae was the only one who broke the silence, the others kept staring at you in disbelieve. After a couple awkward minutes you started to think that it was a wrong idea to come here. You just wanted to say that you were going to leave when someone else took in your place and talked.

"__________-ah, i-is that really you? You're a-alive?" Baekhyun stumbled forward in your direction and Jongdae moved away to make some room for him. You nodded slowly, not wanting to overload him with to many things at the same time. "You're alive." He said again, while tears welled up in his eyes. He was now standing right in front of you and brought his hand up slowly. He hesitated for a moment but then touched your cheek with his finger. It brushed against it, like he was scared to break you.

"You're really here." He whispered and smiled his smile to you. A smile he only gave to you, the smile that said 'I love you'. "Yes." You said and he sucked in his breath when he heard your voice, he was so happy to see you, to hear you, to touch you, he couldn't describe it. Suddenly he pulled you against his chest and pressed you tightly against him, as if he didn't want to let you go again. "I missed you so much!" He wailed while kissing your forehead with his soft pair of lips, just as you remembered them.

"I missed you too." You smiled at him and cupped his cheeks with your hands, rubbed them with your thumb. He closed his eyes when he felt your touch and shivered. Then Chanyeol jumped behind you, what almost gave you a heart attack. "Are you better?" He asked, grinning to you as a monkey. "Duuuh!" You smirked back at him and shrieked when he suddenly pulled your hair. "Omgood! It's real hair! You are better." Baekhyun slapped him for hurting you and stroked your head. Then the mood lightened up inside of the room, it was just like you remembered. Everything was just like you remembered, like you wanted it to be.

You spent the rest of the evening on Baekhyun's lap while the members told you their stories and some funny jokes. They also asked you about your life when they had been gone, how you had overwon your illness. You told them everything, feeling proud that you did. Baekhyun was staring at you thw whole evening, admiring you for being so strong, even when he hadn't been there for you. But that wouldn't happen again. If you would ever become sick again, he would not leave your side. He would do anything to be with you, he was never going to let you go again, now that you were finally back to him. Now his life was finally complete again, just as he remembered.
