When you and Baekhyun return a lost child
[A/N: In this one shot I used Chen as the guy your really hate! But I don't really hate Chen of course!! How could I? Have fun reading^^~~ ]
You let your eyes glide over the beach as you sat on your big chair. You were a life saver at the beach where you worked together with your one female and 8 male colleagues to keep everyone from drowning. Since you were one of the only two girls between all the men you had created a teasing and straight forward character to stand your ground towards them.
"________-ah, I think it's gonna be pretty quiet today, since the sea is calm too." You eyed down at your best friend and only female colleague Hana. "Yeah, I guess so. If you're gonna drown in this water you are a brain dead moron." Hana chuckled at your stupid reaction before she asked you to get something to drink.
You accepted her offer and went to the bar with her. Of course everyone's eyes would always immediately jump torwards you two, since you were live savers and even if you said it yourself, you were also pretty hot. Some of them said hello and others just peeked and looked away after a couple seconds, or minutes. But you weren't doing this job for the attention but because you just loved to swim.
On your way the two of you found a little boy who was crying for his mother. "Hey little one, what's wrong? Did you lose your mommy?" You asked while you knealed down next do him. The boy nodded and Hana stayed with him while you went to the bar so that they could broadcast the fact that you found a boy who had lost his parents so his parents could come and pick him up. But you knew that at the bar your biggest enemy would be waiting for you, the bartender. You hated the guy, and he hated you. He would do anything to make your life miserable and you wanted to pull all of his hair out.
As soon as you arrived you asked him if he could do what you needed so you could leave as fast as you came. "Hey Chen, could you do something for me? We found a little boy who lost his parents so broadcast it so they can come get him would ya?" Chen grinned at you and leaned against the bar. "And why would I do that?" "Don't be so ridiculous! It's a kid we're talking about!" You screamed and you didn't even notice how the guy next to you listened to the conversation. "I don't care, I would do you a favour with it so I'm not doing it." "You..."
Someone interrupted you and you eyed the guy standing beside you. "Just do it man, the kid wants to go back to his parents." You nodded at the guy's words and crossed your arms over your chest. "No." Chen said again and you just snapped. "I'm gonna kill you." You said as you hung over the bar and reached out for him.
You felt a strong arm wrap around your waist to hold you in place so you couldn't hurt him. But all you could focus on right now was the ass in front of you. "You arrogant idiot! Did you lose your brains or something?! Take the fucking microphone and do it, you brat!" You screamed and kicked with your legs in hopes that the guy who held you against his body would finally let you go and let you finish him. When Chen still wouldn't move your temper really started to heat up and you pulled at the arm that is around your waist. "Seriously I swear dude, once I get close enough you're dead."
Then you felt how you got pulled off the bar and your back hit someones chest. "Hey listen buddy would you..." You forgot what you wanted to say when you saw a cute guy with a nice smile and blond hair standing behind you. "Just let it go, I'll go and talk to him for you." He said as he eye smiled at you before his arm disappeared around you and he stepped in front of you. You didn't hear the conversation the two had because you were still in a little daze staring at the guy's beautiful back. "Fixed it for ya." He said as he turned around and winked at you. You felt how your cheeks began to burn and he chuckled softly.
And seemes like he was right because just a couple of seconds later you heard Chen's voice over the beach saying that a lost kid had been found. Your mouth fell slightly open as you stared at the guy in front of you who was grinning like a crazy person. "How the hell did you do that?" He shrugged his shoulders. "I just asked nicely."
He looked at you and you pouted. "It's not my fault he's such an ass." He lifted his eyebrows teasingly as he smiled at you. "What's your name?" He suddenly asked as you two walked back to the water. "It's _________, what's yours?" "My name is Baekhyun." "Well, thanks for the help Baekhyun, and I mean it. Listen, you may think that I'm a creepy person with a huge temper and that I'm really mean but I'm not, I swear." You smiled up at him and he smiled back. "I believe you."
The rest of the evening you two spent it at the beach, even after your shift had ended you two kept talking together and got to now each other better. Once it started to become dark he walked you over to your car. "I actually had a great time today." You said as you walked next to him, not walking too fast because you still wanted to spend more time with him. "Me too, maybe we should do this more often?" He asked quietly as he blushed and stared at the ground, rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah, I think we should."
He smiled up at you and nodded. "So, how will I contact you?" You grinned at his question and opened the door of your car. "Well you can find me on this beach every day." You winked at him before you got in your car and drove off, and you couldn't wait for tomorrow to come.
