When you take a break and meet again after two years part 2/2

"I swear to god this woman is crazy, I'm going to charge her for exploitation." You laughed at your best friend who was again making a drama of everyting as you rubbed your painful legs. "I mean okay, we didn't play that well last saturday, but does she have to give a punishment training for that? Every team can have a bad day, so can we." You rolled your eyes at you grumpy friend and got dressed quickly, trying to get out of here as fast as possible. You had no time for this kind of bullshit right now, you had to go home and study so you would pass your exams.

You grabbed you bag and swung it over your right shoulder before you said goodbye to your team mates. You fished a lolly out of your pocket, removed the paper around it and took it into your mouth. You enjoyed strawberry lollies, they tasted so sweet. You looked down to your feet as you walked over the pavement, wanting to leave the sports ground. You frowned when you saw another pair standing still in front of you and they didn't move aside. You sighed, frustrated and looked up to the person who was blocking your way to freedome. When you recognized him your jaw dropped and your lolly almost slipped out of your mouth. He smiled at you, a smile you remembered oh so well, a smile you had longed for, for such a long time. "B-Baekhyun?" You stuttered and his smile became even wider, slightly turning into a grin. He was happy with your surprised reaction which showed him that you were happy to see him again.

"Hey ________-ah." He greeted you and angled his head to the side so he could look at you from head to toe. You had changed since he had last seen you. You had become thinner and you hair had grown much longer so now it reached just underneath your breasts. You actualy couldn't believe he was back and were sondering or you had to pinch yourself to see or you weren't dreaming. "How have you been?" His angelic voice talked to you again and you almost wanted to melt on your spot. How could this guy still have so much impact on you after two years you hadn't seen him. "I've been well actually, what about you?" His smile turned into a sad one, disappointed to hear that you've been just fine without him. "I'm okay."

The atmosphere between the two of you was kind of awkward so you suggested or he wanted to take a walk with you. He obliged and side to side you walked over the little path which led you to the woods. "I didn't expect you to really come back." You confessed sheepishly and he grimaced. "If I make a promis I keep it." You nodded, feeling guilty because you didn't trust him. You both walked in silence, both trying to get a hold of your emotions. You had no idea about what to do, you still loved this guy. His carreer was now on it's top and you knew you didn't have the right to distract him from his job, but you missed him so much. And now that he came back to you after two years, you got a little hope again. You bit your lip and shrugged off the thought of you and Baekhyun being a couple again. You couldn't be this selfish, he had to follow his dream and you shouldn't be intervene in that.

You sighed and turned to him again with a sad smile. "It was nice to see you again. It's great to hear that you're doing so well...but I have to go now." You decided to go for the short pain and to leave now, before you would only make it even harder for yourself to let him go, again. He stared at you with wide eyes as you showed your back to him, starting to move away from him. The little stones grinted underneath your heels as your eyes overflowed with remaining feelings. You stiffened when two arms slid around your waist and retained you from going any further. "You can't leave me." Baekhyun whispered in your ear and hid his face in the crook of your neck. "I came back because I missed you, because..." He fell silent and took a deep breath before he continued. "Because I wanted to be with you again."

You turned around and stared at him in wonder. "Excuse me what?" You thought you might have heard it wrong. "I still love you ________-ah. These two years, all I could think about was you. I know I have a carreer but we'll find a way to get through it right? As long as I can be with you I don't care, just don't leave me...again" You blinked and a small smile crept over your face. "So, you do indeed keep you promises." He laughed, which sounded like music into your ears. "Of course I do, I'm a man of my word." You giggled as he circled his arms around your waist and pulled you into a hug. He loosened his grip and looked at you with a teasing look in his eyes.

"Yah!" You wailed as he pulled the lolly out of your mouth and put it in his own. "What?" He innocently said and you tried to catch him to take your candy back. He ran away from you until the teasing time was over. He laughed as he held the lolly in front of your face and you opened your mouth so he could give you your lolly back. "We just shared an indirect kiss." Baekhyun grinned and you giggled. "If you want a kiss you should just ask." He chuckled, pulled your candy away again and pressed his lips on yours. "I don't ask that, you're my girlfriend, I can kiss you whenever I like." You smiled, after two years you were finally together again.
