When he cheats on you part 2/2

You were sitting in front of the window, tears still puffy and swollen from all the crying. It had been a week since your break up with Baekhyun and you were still broken from it. Everytime you closed your eyes his pleading eyes appeared in front of you, begging you to stay with him. Each time you tried to get some sleep he ended up in your dreams, replaying the old memories you had together. You missed him, so much that it was killing you. You missed his smile, his touch and the love he gave you but it just wasn't possible anymore.

You were staying at your friend's house, Damion. He was gay and was the perfect companion for you at this moment since he exactly knew what you were going through. His ex had also cheated in him, but they made up after a couple months because their love was so strong. You didn't doubt that your love for Baekhyun was strong enough to get through this but your heart just wasn't. Baekhyun had been your everything and he had betrayed you. Just thinking of the fact that he had sex with another woman made your insides turn.

You put the empty glass down on the little table next to you before you stood up and walked to the living room, watching how Damion and Axel were sitting on the couch, clunging onto each other. "I'm going to catch some air." You informed them as you grabbed your jacket. "Sure honey, be careful okay?" Axel gave you a wonderful, caring smile and you smiled back at him. Those guys took great care of you and at this moment they were the best friends you could ask for. "I will be, I'll see you guys."

You walked outside and closed the door behind you, not looking back. That's something you learned about this whole situation, don't look back, it will only make things much more painful. You dragged your feet with you over the ground, without having any idea where they were taking you. You just needed to clear your mind and the only way you could do that was by having some movement. When you stopped walking you looked up to see where you were and your mouth dropped when you saw where your feet had brought you. This was not where you wanted to be, but now you were here you couldn't go back anymore.

You looked at the big tree in front of you, edmiring the forming leaves since it was starting to get summer. There were still hanging some flowers on the branches but they were ready to fall off. The spring was your favorite season, the time of the year when everything came back to life and the birds started singing again. You walked closer to the tree and turned around so your back was leaning against the trunk. Your legs began to feel weak so you let your body slip down so you were sitting on the ground, into the grass.

This was the place where Baekhyun had officialy asked you to be his girlfriend. 'To be his only one.' He had said. He had already been lying from the beginning, because you weren't his only one. This place was filled with so many memories from the two of you together. You had celebrated you 1 year anniversary here, had had your first kiss... All this images were appearing in front of your eyes again without your permission and instantly you felt like crying again.

You were just about to stand up and rush away when you heard something. You looked around and saw no one else in the park at all. You held in your breath, just to listen or you had heard it correctly and when you did you slowly stood up. With small steps you walked around the big tree trunk, your hand following its curves until you reached the other side of it. You had no idea how to feel about what you saw, forget about having an idea about what to say so you just stood there, frozen.

Seems like you weren't the only person who came here to think. In front of you was Baekhyun, sitting against the tree just as you had done a couple second before. His head was lying on his knees so he couldn't see you, but you could hear him. The sobs which were coming out of his chest were clearly audible but of course he also thought that he was alone and no one was listening to him. Leave alone that someone was standing next to him, watching him cry. Your heart ached while you looked down at him, apparently you weren't the only one who was in pain, and somehow it felt good. You didn't deserve to be the only one hurting.

Suddenly he let out a shuddering breath before he tilted his head up and wiped his tears away. As soon as his eyes captured you he stiffened. "________?!" He jumped up when he realised you were truly here and wanted to hug you, but you stepped back. The pain was readable in his eyes because of your action, but he deserved it. After staring at each other for a while without saying something you turned around and wanted to walk away, still not breaking the silence. You gasped when two strong arms wrapped themselves around your waist and kept you from leaving.

"Let go of me!" You groaned and tried to pull his arms off of you, but he refused to loosen his grip. "No! Please hear me out please!" You were still fighting against his hold as he hid his face in your neck. You froze when you felt your skin getting wet, some drops slidding down your back underneath your clothes making you shiver. "I'm so sorry!" He cried and your mouth dropped when you heard how his voice crack in the middle of his sentence. "It didn't mean anything! I was drunk and I was stupid..." You didn't found that a good excuse for what he had done so you remained silent. "I've been a wrack without you. I just can't live without you, please don't leave me again, I just can't take it anymore. You are the only one I love and I swear I will never be unfaithful again, so just please give me another chance."

Tears streamed down your cheeks as you listened to the things he was telling you. Then Damion's words galmed through your mind. "It's not that I wanted to forgive him, it's just that my heart did it by itself." That's what he had told you when you hadn't understood why in hell he had given Axel a second chance, but now you knew what he meant." You turned around and looked at Baekhyun. He was definitely looking horrible, like he hadn't slept for days. "Promis me that you'll never do it again." His eyes became big as he firmly nodded his head. You sniffed and narrowed your eyes at him. "I hate you..."

New tears filled his eyes when you said that. "I hate you...because you make me love you so much, even after everything you did." He didn't even say anything as he placed his hands on your cheeks before pressing his lips onto yours, where they belonged. When you pulled back he intertwined his fingers with yours and gave you his cheesy smile. "I love you too, more than you can imagine." He whispered and your cheeks turned red. "Now, let's go and kill that bitch." You muttered and Baekhyun chuckled before pulling you into a big hug. "That's my girl."
