When you pass

Your feet were feeling so heavy as you walked down the stairs, taking them one by one so you wouldn't fall. You had your exam results in your hands, but you hadn't looked at the numbers just yet. The anxiety that you hadn't passed was suddenly bigger then you thought because the last thing you wanted to do was double your year. You were a senior, so if you had to retake it, all your friends would be gone and you would be all alone. Unless of course if there was an other idiot who hadn't passed but you knew that chance would be really small.

You looked to Baekhyun, your best friend who was waiting for you with a big smile on his face. You had no idea why his appearence made you only feel even more nervous. But you noticed that he didn't look that relaxed himself, although he had no reason to be nervous at all. He was a celebrity, he didn't have to study anymore so this was none of his worries. Still he came here to support you today, telling you that he was your best friend and that meant he had to be there for you in this kind of situation. He was not completely wrong, he didn't have lots of time for you anymore so this was the least he could do.

You walked torwards him and sighed as you stoot right in front of him. "So?" He asked curiously and you shrugged your shoulders. "I didn't look at it yet." The hands which were holding your papers were trembling and Baekhyun chuckled by your cuteness. "Just look at it, I'm sure the result will be just fine." You shook your head, preparing yourself for the worst. "Well, don't be disappointed." You said and swallowed hard before you folded open the papers and lowered your eyes to the anwser of your worries. You sucked in your breath and just stood there, totally off the map. Baekhyun shifted a little uncomfortable, interpreting your actions wrong. "Is it that bad?" He asked soflty, knowing that if it was how hurt you would be.

Your mouth opened to say something, but no words could be formed. You were so caught up in the moment that everything around you just disappeared. The only things you could still see were your papers and Baekhyun. "________-ah, it's okay. I'm sure you'll do better next year, you should just..." He was interrupted when you started screaming and jumping up and down like a little child. You ignored his gaze and just jumped into his arms. "Wow!" He muttered and blushed when he instinctively put his hands under your bottom to suppord your weight. Your actions had surprised him and he was completely caught off guard. His head was as read as a tomato, but you were to happy to notice. "I passed!" You squealed and hit your arms around his neck, giggling like a brainless idiot.

Baekhyun blinked as he processed the situation and suddenly started cheering with you. He turned little rounds with you in his arms and you shrieked from happiness. You hid your face in his neck and kicked your legs because now, you were hyperactive. You pulled slightly away from him to look at his face. "Oh my god! I passed! Isn't that amazing?!" You didn't even notice how close your faces were and didn't see how Baekhyun's look all of a sudden got very serious. You were still grinning when he closed the distance between the two of you and pressed his lips on yours. You froze, your smile slowly fading off your face as you realised what was happening. But before you could do anything he already pulled back and stared at you with big, shocked eyes.

"Congratulations." He whispered and your mouth corners crulled up again. Your were feeling so good now that you were scared you were going to explode. "Well thank you very much." You giggled and he relaxed when your reaction wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be. Instead of complaining you just tightened your grip around his shoulders and just kissed him again. He stiffened at first but replied to your kiss after a while. One of his hands still rested under your butt to keep you from falling, the other was at the back of your neck to push you even closer so he could deepen the kiss.

"Oh my god, this is the best exam I ever made." You giggled as he put you down and rested his forehead against yours. He chuckled and grabbed your hand. "I told you it would be fine." He reassured you and intertwined his fingers with yours as you walked to the school gate. "Actually...it's more than fine." He gave your hand a squeeze and you giggled. It was so weird, being best friends when he came here and being more than friends while leaving. But you didn't complain, you had passed and you had a boyfriend now, what else could you wish for?
