When you fall on stage
You were oh so ready for your concert right now. Your hair was done, make up was applied and you were wearing your stage outfit so you were all ready to go. You were standing in the hall together with the rest of your members. With the six of you you formed a girlband since 2013 already and you were inseparable. For you those girls were no longer just members, they were not just friends, they were your sisters, your family.
Just as always you were a little nervous. Although you had already been doing this for a pretty long time you would never get used to the adrenaline which was running through your viens. Every time you heard the shouting of the crowd your heart would go insane and you would feel light headed. But tody it was even worse because not so long ago Baekhyun had texted you to say that he would come and look at you today, what meant that he was in the public.
You guys stood in your circle and cheered together before finally taking the steps up to the stage. The lights were out but your figures were still able to be seen what made the crowd go crazy already. You grabbed your microphone tightly as you closed your eyes and counted to three inside of your head, knowing that the lights would turn on in three seconds. As soon as the stage was lightned everyone started screaming and you let your eyes slip over the sea of people. Of course you couldn't find Baekhyun, there were to many people.
You started your performance, you would only sing one song anyways so it would be over fast. While you were singing your part you saw out of the corner of your eye that someone threw something on the stage, but you ignored it. Things like these would always happen, you would just have to watch out and be more careful not to step on it. The songs proceeded and in the middle of it you had to go and stand in the back together with your member Lisa. You grinned at her as you started to close the distance in between the two of you, suddenly getting surprised.
You shrieked softly when you slipped and landed on your side with a hard plump. You groaned in pain as you closed your eyes and threw your head back, while leaning onto your elbows. Lisa looked at you with concern and was hesitating or she was going to rush over to you or keep the act going. You ignored the pain which shot through your ribs as you pushed yourself back up quickly and stood next to her, pretending like nothing happened.
"Jesus, are you okay?" Lisa asked and you anwsered honestly by shaking your head. You weren't okay, you were hurt but show must go on. Dancing was more difficult and because your ribs were protesting you couldn't catch that much air anymore to sing, what was a problem since you were the lead vocal. When the performance ended you looked aside and saw what had caused your accident. The object which had been thrown on the stage was a cup, empty but ice cubes had still been in it. They had rolled out and you had slipped over one of them.
The lights went off again and you sighed in relief as you placed your hands on your knees, tired of pretending that you were fine. Your members rushed over to you and supported you while going backstage. They brought you back to your dressing room where people started to take care of you. They had just given you some ice to hold against your side when your phone rang. "Hey Baekhyun." You tried to say as happy as possible when you noticed who it was. "Hey baby, oh my god are you okay?" He asked in a concerned voice and you bit your lip, mentally cursing youself. "Of course I am! Everything is fine!"
You growled in discomfort when your member prodded your side. "She's not fine!" She screamed into the phone and you kicked her with your foot, causing her to jump backwards. "_______-ah, you have to tell me that!" He cursed and you pouted, even though he couldn't see it. "I'm sorry, I just don't want you to be worried." You gasped when suddenly the line went blank what let you know that he hung up on you. You stared to your phone in disbelieve but sucked in your breath when someone pecked your cheek.
"Hey there hot stuff." Baekhyun moved his eyebrows playfully and you giggled, now understanding why he was no longer on the phone. "Hi sexy." Your members scoffed by your cheesiness and you and Baekhyun both laughed. "I'm sorry but I'm going to steal her away from you." Baekhyun informed and Lisa motioned that he could do whatever he wanted. "Let's go girlfriend!" He said cheerfully and pulled your arm over his shoulder and hitting his around your hips to support you while walking out. "Thanks Baekie." You shot him a cute smile but frowned when you saw he was taking you back to the stage. "Where are you taking me?" You asked and he sniffed.
"We're going to find that bastard who did this to you." He growled and you couldn't help but smile. "But there were thousands of people in here." You reminded him and he just shrugged. "Don't worry about it, I'll find him and then I'll eat him." You laughed as you leaned your weight onto him what made him look down on you with a smirk. "Your performance was really good though." He pecked your nose in the hope to cheer you up and to distract you from the incident. "Thanks baby, I did my best for you. You made me bloody nervous by telling me you were coming." He grinnd and you bit your lip. "You planned on doing that didn't you?" He chuckled and nodded. "Guilty as charged." He confessed and you hit his stomach. "It doesn't mean that now that I'm hurt I can't punish you anymore Byun Beakhyun. Just wait until we get home."
But while you were talking Baekhyun was just staring to your face with a blank gaze. "You're so pretty." He suddenly said, which had nothing to do with your conversation. Your eyes widened before your look softened and you forgot about his teasing. "You're such a flatterer." He nodded and turned you around so you were fully in his arms. "Yes, and I'm so proud of it." You rolled your eyes before kissing him and he happily kissed you back.
