When you pass out

You stared at the food in front of you and then back to Baekhyun's mom. She was smiling at you, waiting until you would start eating and would compliment her about the food she had made for dinner. You shot her a convincing smile and pricked your fork into the dish, praying to god before you put it in your mouth, chewed and swallowed it. You hummed in respond and indeed gave her a compliment about the food. It was indeed delicious, but that was not the problem at all.

Baekhyun, who was sitting next to you, gave you an adorable smile before he started to eat again, not having a clue about what was going on. His parents had invited you over for his brother his birthday dinner and here you were, sitting at their table. You were very happy that they had asked you and didn't want to do anything to ruin the mood or to make his parents dislike you. You ate the rest of the dish with a concerned look on your face but always smiled as anyone turned their attention to you.

Normally you always suggested to help when Baekhyun's mom would start to clean the table but this time you took adventage of the fact that his parents left to the kitchen so you could talk to Baekhyun. You tugged at his sleeve and he turned his head to you with his usual smile. "What is it baby?" He asked when he saw your worried look and placed his hand on your knee underneath the table. "I have a problem." You whispered and he frowned, waiting for you to continue. "I'm allergic to garlic." You peeped and nodded the the empty plate in front of you.

Baekhyun's eyes widened and slipped over your body in panic. "Then why the hell did you eat that dish?" He asked quitly but in his voice you could hear that he was a little angry. "Because I didn't want to be rude." You explained and eventually he nodded. "Okay, and now what? What happens when you eat garlic." You bit your lip and shook your head. "I don't know, the only thing I remember is that I woke up in the hospital. The doctor told me that I was allergic but not what had happened. I never ate garlic again since then so I haven't tried it again." You informed him softly in his ear and he just looked at you a little helpless, thinking about what to do next.

You changed your facial expression when his parents returned and brought a dessert. You accepted it and felt Baekhyun's eyes were on you the entire time. That you told him that last time you had landed in the hospital hadn't exactly calmed him down. You blinked a couple times when you felt your head getting light and the room around you turned around in little circles. You cleared your throat as the feeling didn't go away anymore after a while but just pretended like nothing was wrong. You looked on your watch to check the time but let out a trembling sigh when you saw four pointers except for two.

Baekhyun leaned closer to you and snuggled his arm around your back. "Baby, are you okay?" He asked with a low voice but you waved his concerns away, making it look like everything was fine. "It's okay, I just have to go to the bathroom for a moment." You shot his parents and his brother a polite smile before raising from your chair and walking to the bathroom, trying to walk in a straight line. When you couldn't see the way in front of you anymore you decided to take a break and leaned your side against the wall, replacing your weight on it. You let out a little puff as you closed your eyes, knowing that this was because of your allergy.

"_______-ah, are you okay?!" You heard Baekhyun's brother's voice in your ear and nodded. He grabbed you by your shoulders and held you up, and therefore you were very grateful. "I'm fine...I just...I..." You muttered but suddenly your mind went blank and you collapsed in his arms, your eyes closing and everything going black. Well this explained why you didn't remember anything of it anymore.

Baekhyun was just talking to his parents when he suddenly heard his brother scream for him. They all exchanged some looks before they all stood up and walked to the sound. Baekhyun stiffened at first when he saw his brother holding you in his arms, not looking awake anymore. Then he ran over to you and took you over. He carried you to the couch and told his mom to call a doctor as he sat down beside you. "_______!" He said with a loud voice and hit your cheeks softly with the back of his hand in the hope to get a reaction from you.

"What the hell happened?" His mother asked when she returned and Baekhyun shook his head. "S-she got an allergic reaction." He stuttered as he shook your body slightly by your shoulders and groaned when you remained still. "________!!" He yelled and his dad pulled him aside. "Stay calm son, you're not helping her by panicking." He remarked and Baekhyun knew he was right, but still. He pulled at his hair with both of his hands as his father tried to wake you up too. "I should have just brought her to the hospital when she mentioned it god damn it!" He growled and his mom patted his shoulder. "It's not your fault Baekhyun-ah."

You groaned when you felt two hands holding your face. Instinctively you opened your eyes and had expected to find Baekhyun in front of you. A shriek escaped your lips as you saw that it was not him and you brought your hands in front of yourself protectively. "She's fine now." The doctor chuckled and you shot him a glare. This doctor was a very mean man. Your eyes widened when he got shoved aside and replaced by the man you wanted to sit beside you currently. "Jesus jagi, don't do this to me again." Baekhyun sighed in content when he saw you were okay and brushed your hair backwards with his hands. "I'm sorry, I just didn't want to be impolite."

You sent him a cheesy smile and he chuckled. "My baby is such a well educated woman." You laughed and shook your head. "Are their any more things you're allergic for?" You smirked at him. "Do you have pen and paper?" His eyes widened and you giggled at his expression. "Just kidding Baek, just kidding." He released his breath and clacked his tongue. "You really..." You laughed and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "Eeww girl, you smell like garlic." He waved his hand in front of his nose and you gave him a stump in his stomach. "Aaww!" He groaned and laughed. "Sorry baby, I just couldn't help it."
