When you ride the ferris wheel
Baekhyun had been so annoying all day because he was bored and didn't had anything to do so you decided to drag him somewhere. And where else to take the energetic Byun Baekhyun than to a energetic place right? So you had taken him to the fair, where he could have his fun and where you actually also wanted to go since it hadn't been there in a while. Baekhyun had been so excited because he hadn't been to a fair for ages because of his carreer so he had thanked you and kissed your lips gratefully for bringing him here.
You had ridden most of the rides and he had even dragged you into the most scary roller coasters. You had been wandering around the place for almost 3 hours now and still you found a way to amuze yourselves. But after all those wild rides you found that you needed to finish this night in a calm way and so when something caught your eye you pulled at the sleeve of Baekhyun's jacket to gain his attention. He stopped his tracks and stared down at you with a relaxed smile lingering around his lips.
"What is it babe?" He asked and you hooked your arm through his while pointing to the attraction in front of you. "Let's ride the ferris wheel Baek." You suggested and he nodded while grabbing your hand and dragging you over there. You bought your tickets and stood in line, waiting until it was your turn. "It's such a great night, I had so much fun." You smirked at him and he did the same. "So did I jagi, we should go out like this more often." You rolled your eyes because you both knew that was impossible because of his busy schedule. "It's our turn!" You squealed and Baekhyun chuckled at your reaction.
You were guided into the ferris wheel and you smiled when Baekhyun crept close to you. The ride started and you giggled while admiring the sight of the city, the lights reflecting in your eyes. You turned your head slightly just to find your boyfriend staring at you with a cute smile on his face and sparks in his eyes. "Thanks _______-ah, thanks for taking me here today and turning my day off into a wonderful time." You pouted by hearing his cheesy words and laid your head on his shoulder. "You're welcome." You whispered and he placed his head on top of yours while intertwinding your fingers together.
You were both enjoying the peaceful moment you two were sharing as suddenly the wheel shocked a little and stopped moving. Your eyes became big as you noticed it and you lifted your head to see what the problem was. Below you people were trying to get everything fixed and you figured out that this stop wasn't planned. Your eyes shot to Baekhyun's who was frowning as he thought the same thing as you. "Are we stuck?" You asked smally and he shrugged his shoulders and pouted. "It looks like it." He muttered and sighed deeply. Hopefully this wouldn't last too long.

"Come here, you're freezing." He said with a concerned expression as he saw you shivering next to him and trying to keep yourself warm by hugging your own arms. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you against his chest. You happily hid in his jacket as he rubbed your back to warm you up. You were already stuck for 30 minutes now and it was late, dark and cold. You were high up in the air so here the temperatures were even lower than on the solid ground.
"What should we do now?" Your voice shuddered from the cold as a painful shiver ran down your spine. Baekhyun took both of your hands and cupped them in his before bringing them to his mouth and blowing his hot breath onto them. "We'll wait and kill that man when we get down." He assured you and you managed to bring out a little giggle. This was not what you had expected from the ferris wheel, this ending was not what you had wanted. Baekhyun pushed your hands in the pockets of his jacket before circling his arms around your middle again.
"I'm tired." You mumbled as your eyes started to close. He stroked your hair softly while humming a peaceful song into your ear, causing that your eyes were too heavy to open again. You nuzzled more against his body as you dozed off in his arm. He looked at your relaxed face and listened to your steady breathing as he waited for this ride to start moving again and as he tried to keep you warm. He knew that this was not his fault but still he felt bad for getting you into this kind of situation.
He gasped when suddenly the wheel started to turn again and puffed in relief. "_______-ah, baby, wake up, we're moving again." He muttered and his breath got stuck in hs throat as he watched how your eyes fluttered open and how they met his. "Really?" You said happily with a hoarse voice. He nodded and pecked your lips, waiting until you would be on the ground again. When you finally got down Baekhyun helped you out of the ferris wheel and shot the man who was responsible for this a glare. He bowed his head in apology and gave the both of you a blanket.
Baekhyun wrapped both of them firmly around you, not accepting one but giving both of them to you while leading you home. It was very quiet on the streets as he hugged you close against his body with his arm wrapped around your shoulders. "If you get sick I'm going to sue him." Baekhyun growled and you giggled softly. "I'll be fine after a hot shower." You assured him but he kept mocking until you got home and your body was back onto it's normal temperature. "Next time we'll skip that ferris wheel." He cooed as he pulled you on his lap on the couch. You nodded in response, agreeing with that decision. "Or we'll just dress warmly next time." He chuckled and pecked your lips. "I love you." You whispered and he pressed his forehead against yours. "I love you more."
